Purchased this two weeks ago and was finally able to put it to the test. The instructions on how to attach the saw to the pole were unclear and had to do some fiddling around to figure it out. Once assembled, I found it easy to use and quickly had a large pile of branches. I was impressed with how quickly and cleanly it made the cuts. Unfortunately, It is too heavy for me to extend it beyond the 6' range and I was afraid I was going to drop it so I didn't get all the trimming done that I wanted to do and I will have to use a manual pole saw to get the higher branches. This is the third WORX power tool I have purchased and they have turned out to be the best tools I have. I recommend them to others all the time.

GREAT, TOUGH SAW! I cut down a 30ft tree, with a 12" diameter trunk with this thing. Took hardly any time at all, and this thing never even struggled. Great as a pole saw, but also a very tough little chain saw. I don't have the need for a typical chain saw, and this thing fit the bill. Would I plan on using it this way all the time? Probably not...but for a one time deal, it worked great. I love how the chain is "auto tensioning" and that it's self lubricating. When I was done, it was easy to remove the chain and bar and clean them up properly for storage. I would HIGHLY recommend this saw for the majority of homeowners who just don't need a full size chain saw all the time!

I use it on hardwood with pole fully extended. Have to keep the bar tight or the chain jumps. I own several chainsaws.

Tried the pole saw for the first time a few days ago. It cuts through the limbs like they were butter. Just have to lay the blade on the limb and press the trigger. It is a little too heavy for me when fully extended, but no problem for my husband. He loves it. We trimmed a lot of dead limbs and other things which would have required a ladder if using a regular saw. I can use it when not fully extended and still reach limbs that would otherwise be out of reach. Can't wait do trimming! BTW - I am 73.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chainsaw will not leave you stranded. Although its only a 10" chain, this thing cuts through far more than just a 2 or 3 inch branch. Ive cut through more than i ever should have and its always treated me so well. The key to this little guy, is to never force the chainsaw; let it cut on its own pace. This will add years to this product's lifecycle. In addition, the extension pole is such a clever idea for those hard to reach branches. I cut down 5, 40ft ficus hedges that had turned into trees! This little guy got them all down with no issues! Working above your head is the only DANGER....so be extra careful with this thing. Its heavy enough for you to need some muscles if working overhead for more than 2 or 3 minutes. That and the issue of the high branches coming down on you. But that's all user issues and not this little chainsaw's fault. I would HIGHLY recommend this product for all your backyard trimming needs, and then some. It does use quite a bit of bar/chain oil, so always buy an extra bottle to have with you, if you're doing lots of trimming.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this chainsaw on a stick with some amount of trepidation but when I put it together plugged it in and started cutting branches of at least 6 inches in diameter and many at that I must have cut about 1/2 a cord of branches first on the pole then alone on the ground cut and stacked just to verify the amount cut in just a few hours,If this saw sees longevity then I have certainly made the purchase of a lifetime in this saw

Followed all the instruction and this saw really surprised me, Worx excellent. Never for a split second regret purchasing this saw.

I bought this about a month ago to replace one I bought a year ago. The one old stopped working after only using a little. This product works great and is easy to use. Its a lot more durable and I like you can take the saw off and use. This is not my first Worx product but I'm sure it will have the same durability and ease of use as the other products I have and love. Great job !!!!

had this pole saw already. Use it to trim around the yard. My son had a large tree fall on his garage during hurricane Irma. I used this little 10" saw having removed it from the pole and cut up all the limbs down to where the trunk was about 24" across. Was amazed with the power and the fact the chain never dulled out. Very impressive for a electric saw. Thanx for building a real product.

I had oak tree branches over hanging my house's roof. I was using a manual pole saw before but the branches would snag the blade. The chain saw lets me take down bigger branches with much less effort and very fast. The auto lube feature is great and the unit is 99% pre-assembled. This will save me from a lot of back pain from using the manual saw.
