Get's the job done for small job.

I have this electric hand/pole saw for a few years now. It will get the job done for the small job. The only part I don't like about it is when the pole is fully extended. The saw is then top heavy and becomes had to maneuver.

Cuts Through Tree Branched Like Butter....

Ease of use for a woman. Don't forget the chain oil which is not included but dont let this scare you off...you simply pour it in. Once you start it it self lubricates.

Way too heavy!

Not practical to use as a pole saw unless ur cutting a few big branches that are hard to reach. If you're looking to cut a lot of branches, get something lighter

Ladders & chain saws don't mix

My son in law wanted this for Christmas. That is my daughter is taking no chances since they are about to become 1st time parents and eventually will want to use extended chain saw to facilitate tree house.

High hopes dashed

Chain doesn't stay on. If chain didn't slip off every time you cut something I'd keep it. Bought today. Taking back tonight. Directions to use the saw incomplete and inadequate .

ok performance

it cuts and gets the job done but don't count on clean cuts. as expected its heavy when used on the pole. where is the serial number on this to complete the warranty registration? it is on the box? on the pole, battery , or the saw?

Surprisingly powerful

I bought this product to trim branches on a few trees and was surprised how powerful the small motor was. My only problem is the weight. I am 5'8" and weighs 160 lbs and found it a little heavy for me but it gets the job done quickly.

Out of the box, not happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't got a chance to use it yet. It appears that you have to have a cheap extension cord to use this. It doesn't have a grounded plug and the female end of neither of my 12/2/g cords will fit into this cover that surrounds the male plugin on this unit.
