I have used this saw on different occasions, each with different types of trees that needed trimming. It did a good job on each variety & was easy to remove the pole for cutting the limbs on the ground. It didn't take very long to get the hang of using the saw with the pole, it was a balancing thing.

I bought this a few weeks ago and just tried to cut out a small tree stump that was in the way. I carefully dug around the stem and roots to be sure there was no rock, dirt or sand in the path. However, after just a few cuts the blade was so dulled that I couldn't use it any more. I now have to replace the chain, since there doesn't seem to be a way to sharpen it, since the teeth are smaller than a regular chainsaw.

I'm fairly strong as I can beat a college baseball pitcher in arm wresting - With the pole fully extended it is too heavy to control well while using - is there a harness to help with the weight and stability The chain is easy to adjust, but not self adjusting

The plastic sprocket or gear that moves the chain, in less than a year was damaged.
