It is more powerful than some of the other brands of the pole/chain saws. It would be more powerful (say with the > 8 Amp and 16" bar and chain) to cut the bigger trees easier.

This is a one year follow up. I've cut down 4 trees that were 8-12 inches across. This saw totally impressed me. I would have assumed that it would have come with a poor quality blade but it cut today just as well as it did when I first bought it. It motors through everything I have used it on. The tensioner and oiler work well also. I definitely recommend this little powerhouse. Great fir backyard cleanup and tree removal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A must have for anyone with trees in their yard. Effective and powerful. Detach and use as chainsaw, a great feature. Only negative: it can be heavy with pole extended to max reach. This makes it hard to handle, so you have to have good upper body strength and good techniques.

I brought this online and have had it for one week. I only have a one-quarter acre city lot, but it has seven mature trees. I have already trimmed back everything that needed trimming. It is light and easy to use. I even cut some limbs while on a ladder. Really nice tool.

I purchased this saw a couple of weeks ago and used it for the first time yesterday. I had to take down a dead tree that was not in a great place for standard felling. With the pole I was able to take down the higher limbs, then section the trunk until it was completely cut down.

The saw is very conveneient - battery pwoered means ease of starting and hold a charge for a good amount of work. I bought this saw to take down small - medium size trees and for aerial pruning. It is great for taking down trees and cutting on ground. But I gave it a "good" review becuase it is not easy to maneuver when using the pole feature. Maybe with more practice, I'll get better and can upgrade the overall rating.

I have had this saw for a few months and it's worked great. However today a branch i cut brought my saw down and the knob assembly that holds the chainsaw on the pole broke and i cant find replacement parts online for it. I would recommend it but with CAUTION.

Saw is a little front heavy but was great for pruning the occasional limb. However, the motor is designed to fail. The shaft of the motor includes plastic pieces that will melt with any sort of continuous use. We had a storm come through the area and I needed to trim the downed limbs (2-5” in diameter) into 6 foot lengths for disposal and after 10 cuts in a row the saw slowed down and the electric motor started smoking from the burning plastic that had melted and was being thrown into the electromagnets. After the motor cooled down it was permanently seized and turned the saw into an expensive paperweight.

It paid for itself the first time I used it. I'm retired now and use to do all the tree and bush trimming by hand "not fun". Not anymore, wish they had this saw decades ago. I took some 8" branches with ease. Only issue I have is it so easy & fun to use it makes a lot more work for me to clean up after. If taken care of it should last for years.
