Pruning is done - happy dance!

I moved into a rental house 5 months ago, and the people before me had obviously not pruned the apple trees for a couple (or a few) years. Initially, I bought an extension pruner with a small curved saw on the end as well. I nipped off as many suckers as I could, but there were some that were 3" across. I decided to go ahead and purchase this electric pole saw and am so glad I did! The rest of the pruning was done in two evenings after work - yay! I will say that even though the saw is lightweight, once you put it on the end of a 10' pole, it becomes awkward. My shoulders let me know after a couple of hours that they were done :) But it would have taken ten times longer to just use the handsaw. I definitely recommend wearing eye protection when using this saw.

Overall good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this after hurricane Irma and works great only issue I have is the tensioner hits limbs and will loosen on me. Chain came off a couple times and chewed up the cover a little. A little longer bar and chain may help some

I'm not happy.

I bought this last year. I'm a women 68yrs old. But I am only 4'10. I can hardly use it. My hands cannot hold the button and squeeze the Handle. It is too. Top heavy to cut the branches......I do try it as it takes too long for my grandson to come in........I am the only one doing all my yard. Work

It works!

My biggest worry was having the chain fall off and not being able to put it back on. So of course, I got it caught in some hidden chicken wire and had to take it off to untangle it. It went back on just fine! For the record, this is the first time I have ever used a chain saw! I am a 68 year old woman and found this easy to use. I haven't used it as a pole saw yet but so far, just great!

Impressively powerful little saw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used only this pole saw (and some wedges and hammer) to trim around the powerlines, fell, limb, and buck two balsam fir trees that were 11.5in diameter and 50ft tall. It took longer than if I had used a larger saw, but it did the job fantastically. If I had a larger chain saw instead, I would have also needed a pole saw to do the trimming. This little beast got the job of two tools done. The chain stayed sharp and the saw never faltered. I loved how easy it was to use and it's lighter weight made it easier on my body than a full chain saw. I'm a Worx fan for life now!

Best electric chain saw.

Very happy about my purchase. This pole chain saw is great. Ten inch bar is just the right size for what I need. Not to heavy for reaching branches ten feet up in tree. Easy cut, and once branch is down you can convert pole saw into hand held chain saw super easy to finish up the job. Couldn't ask for more. Can't go wrong if you purchase this chainsaw!

Convenient features

This saw has a lot of power. I was able to prune off a 6" x 20' limb from a cottonwood tree, starting from a smaller spot on the limb down to the trunk, then removing the pole i was able to cut it into smaller pieces with the regular chain saw. Quick and simple to change functions. It's a little heavy when the pole is extended to reach higher limbs.

Perfect homeowner pole saw!

I bought this pole saw to trim tree branches and palm fronds intruding into my backyard from a neighbors neglected property. This saw worked beautifully. Very little setup required and the quality is evident. I used the saw at full extension and with the saw removed from the pole. Performance was great in both configurations. When buying a homeowner tool that will be infrequently used, I like to buy corded which requires very little maintenance and is always ready for use. Word of caution: If user does not have good upper body strength, it may be difficult to use in pole configuration especially for long periods of time, but I think most users will not have an issue. Excellent value!

Awesome combo pole saw chain saw

Great saw got the jobs done that I wanted it to do. Its a Worx saw not a workhorse. Let the saw cut at its capabilities and you will have no issues. Cut 2 face cord of wood in a timely matter. Nice and light weight saw even the ladies can handle it. The only problem I had was I showed my wife how to use it. I was demoted to wood stacker the rest of the afternoon.
