This stool is the more comfortable of the two stools Sam's offers like this. Assembly was easy, slide the black plastic collar over the vertical cylinder and slide the cylinder into the base, no tools required. Expected to last a while.

really solid and substantial stool. The seat formation doesn't lend itself to installing a seat cover so after some tedious electronic work my bottom begins to get numb. Otherwise, a solid work tool.

This stool is made very well. The seat is shaped to hug your bottom! Very comfortable. Of course this still does not have a visual back support, however with the shaped seat it supports very well. Husband is extremely happy!
