We are sorry to hear what happened. Instant Canopies are designed as temporary shelters and should not be left unattended or kept up for days. If they are not properly secured they are susceptible to wind. We provide replacement parts for every component. Good afternoon Bad,<br />Thank you for taking time to post your review. Every canopy sold has a pamphlet inserted with the unit which includes set up instructions, a part list and a PROPER USE instruction sheet which advises users to not use these temporary Sun Shelters in any kind of inclement weather including rain. The canopy top will pool water putting stress on the frame and can result in a canopy failure. This can be dangerous to anybody under or around the canopy which is why we caution buyers. Please take note these canopies are sold as Sun Shelters and we understand the circumstances, however being exposed to a storm will, yes, treat your canopy like an oversized kite. When not in use we strongly urge users to release the legs and remove the top. This will prevent most damages from taking place. Rain and wind will blow through the frame easily. We ask that you read through the other reviews here on the site, we believe the product speaks for itself.
