The planter is very nice and so was the price. I do wish the instructions were clear on what to do according to how you are going to use it. Indoors vs outdoors Overall a very good purchase and recommend.

I purchased two of the MM Tall Square Planters for both sides of my entry door. We absolutely loved them after we added potting soil and plants. The next day, we noticed that the soil was drying out and looked as if we never watered the plants. They only get morning sun. We've had the planters just a little over a month, and they are starting to warp. I assume this is from the water that is self-storing instead of self-watering. I would not recommend these at all.

Planter looks nice and seems to work with self watering feature once I figured out how to do it. Gave 3 stars for lack of providing rope required for self-watering feature with the planter and lack of instructions on how to install rope for self-watering feature once purchased separately. I found limited instructions on Sam's Club website for item when scrolling through images of item. Disappointed that planter has self-watering feature but the rope required didn't come with item when purchased at Sam's Club. Also there were no instructions on how to install rope once purchased separately. I figured a way on my own that seems to be working.

Looks great. From a little distance you would never know that it’s plastic. Up close you can totally tell. It’s got a smaller actual pot size inside due to you can fill the base with water and will keep the soil moist for a good amount of time. I’m really happy with the purchase. I hope they last a long time!
