I bought this for my 2009 Polaris sportsman , the kit came with a flat bracket for the winch but I needed an internal bracket , that I bought separately . It does what is supposed to do , I mainly use it to raise and lift a snowplow .

I use this winch to pull my boat, (16' bow rider), up a ramp for storage in my boathouse. I connected it to a 110 volt ac/12 volt dc adapter for convenience.

Very great so far, happy to finally have a champion winch. Hope it holds up better than the other one. Other one was grinding and screaming from the start.
