My past experience with the 3000lb winch has been great. My last one lasted me over 8 years. From pulling logs, some were huge, to using my winch with the snow plow. The winch lasted a long time for the work I asked it to do.

This is one strong winch, I installed on the front of my quad for emergency use but have not had to as of yet. However I did pull a 30' dead tree out of our creek to cut up and burn and it handle this with ease.
