Installed on YXZ using a Houser mount. Super easy install. Still need to finish up wires - fixing some previous owner installed birds nest. Did replace clunky handlebar mounted switch with solenoid and dash mount rocker switch. This winch looks to be well made - we will see. Recommended.

Great design for this winch. The flat pancake brushes and armature on the end of the motor make it real easy to rotate the wiring by 90 degrees. I have a 2013 Can Am and it bolted directly into the machine perfectly, and since it is a G2 two seater it is a bit longer than most but the wires were plenty long to make the connections. I really like the solid feel of the control head which is mounted on the handle bar, it is solid and holds fairly snug and the buttons are solid feeling also. I think it is a nice winch for the money.

I purchased this Winch for my Polaris Rzr. I was told I had to purchase a specific brand that would fit but Champion had the size I needed and the exact mount I needed to install it. Its a tight fit to do the mounting but definitely doable. The Winch control mounted easily in the CAB to the left of the steering wheel under the dash and is completely viewable and easy to operate. This winch seemed as if it was made for this application. After fastening to the battery, I disengaged the clutch and pulled the cable all the way out and then used the controls to reel it back in. WORKS FANTASTIC! Definitely the route to take if your looking for a winch for your side by side.

I really haven't used the winch that much yet. I was really pleased with the ease of set up. It was self explanatory. I was able to securely fasten the winch to a steel beam, which will create a strong base from which to do my heavy lifting in the lake.

Bought this winch to replace one on my 4wheeler that I use for a snow plow. It's a nice, heavy duty winch and works great. I like the large clutch control, easy to to grip and turn with gloves on. Definitely an upgrade from the winch I had. It is much more smooth and quiet compared to my old one. The hardware that came with it worked great and everything fit perfectly. Only downside I have is the size of the controls, kind of large for handlebars on my 4wheeler with all the factory things already on them. Overall very happy with my purchase and will definitely chose Champion Power Equipment again!

I work my winch a bit with a snow plow and while the winch itself is fine I have had my switch apart four times in two plow seasons and now know it's failed beyond repair. Champion has decidedly gone to "big box" cheapness on this unit. Try other brands:(

was looking for a good way to hang deer in my shed without using the old pully system. At 63 years old, all of the deer outweigh me, so I was hooking the rope up to my Ranger and backing it out to raise the deer. One push of a button and they go right to the rafters now!!

I bought this winch to mount on my pontoon boat trailer to make launching for my wife and I easier, especially in early spring and late fall when the water is very cold. I was surprised at the power packed in such a light weight winch. All the wiring, cables and hardware were included and ready to assemble which made the job go quickly. I chose not to purchase the wireless remote but the length of the cord on this is a little shorter than I would like. I'll use it for the remainder of the season and upgrade to wireless if it becomes an issue. Mounting the new winch to the frame of the trailer was a little tricky because I'm trying to keep my old hand crank winch mounted too in case of an emergency... dead battery, etc.

I have had the champion model 13004, 3000 pound winch, for probably 10 years or more. I use it all the time, it's mounted on my Kubota RTV 900 and just recently started to loose its power... I've had such great luck with this model I wanted to purchase the same one again if it were still available.... I considered purchasing a larger one but the 3000 pound model has worked like a champ.... and I really can't say I need a larger unit... I'm 68 years old and if this lasts as long as my first one I probably won't need another... But who knows if my body holds up .... I'll just have to see which lasts the longest ???? Great winch.... I have a 4x8 tilt trailer which is a real pain to load non-running lawn tractors onto. I'm an old man and wanted to make my life easier so i invested in this winch. It will be attached to the front of the trailer and used to pull the tractors up and onto the trailer. Unit appears to be well made and heavy duty for its size. It really looks good. In all fairness I am receiving a t-shirt for my review, but I would have given the same review without it.
