Even due to the high thread count, the fabric is still very breathable and doesn't leave hot spots. We haven't washed it yet so I cannot say how it will do but we think it will be just fine. It came in a lovely velcroed pouch made of the same material. The color, Blue Crest, comes across my camera as too gray and does not represent the beautiful blue color it is. I did wash them before using. The fitted sheet has deep pockets that fit our memory foam mattress on our adjustable bed nicely, leaving plenty of room for adjusting the bed up and down. The cotton is soft and comfortable, which makes for a soothing, rest-inducing feeling. I did not iron them to see how wrinkle-free they were, which you can judge in the pictures. I will buy more for my bed and will recomend them to others.
