Three bags, bought June -July, had two to three bruised or rotten oranges in each bag, remainder tasted flat, tasted nothing like a good orange.

Rotting from inside out. The last 8 bags I got from both July and August were mostly like this attached picture. Can't tell without cutting them open. This may be missed if you normally cut them horizontally for juicing.

The only reason I gave it a one star rating is because the peel tasted better than the inside dried out crap fruit. Get rid of these oranges and stop pushing them because you over ordered, SAM'S.

Depends on what time of year you buy them, Oranges from USA arrive in stores mid to late November and go through March or April, After that they come from S. America (mostly) the origin is stamped on the bag. Early and late season are not as good and usually April thru June pretty bad: I also think the South American ones are not as good think July through October, not bad but same situation first harvest and late usually not very good. maybe they keep the best stuff for themselves or a week or two on a container ship doesn't help them much. In prime season I think these are very good for the price, I don't buy oranges at all from late summer until around end of November.

I was leery of buying these oranges because there were a lot of bad reviews, but I really needed them. I figured that the new crop should be in by now and I'd take a chance . Well these are definitely NOT new crop navels, they are last year's old dried out, tasteless oranges that have been sitting too long. I bought them on Tuesday and I already had one rotten by last night (Saturday) and they are being returned today (Sunday). I paid over $10 for them and they are garbage.

they are misreprsented i trusted sam club to know what navel oranges look like they have a navel like top very noticeable an peel very easy,so we will be checking everything we pick up at the produce. my bad for not checking them but i will next time. they tasted ok.but definitely not a navel.

Iregularly buy these , I also regularly throw at least three per bag away because they mold. also. Very often the oranges are dry. We eat 1-2 per day a bag usually has 8-11 oranges in it. Get better oranges or figure out your shipping tomes better Sams club.

I loved the sweet, juicy flavor when i first started purchasing these in June 25. Then they were out of stock sometime in July. When they were back in stock, later in july, they were hard, dry, and bitter tasting. I suspect that they were not from the same place as before.
