I purchased these tires for my 2013 Chevy Volt back in November 2020. My car had about 110,000 miles on it, and this is the 3rd set of tires. I get about 33 miles on pure electric driving, and I was getting about 36 miles on pure electric. I now have about 5,000 miles on these tires, and I am still hoping it goes back to the 36 miles. The tires have excellent traction-on the other sets, the tires would squeal sometimes. With the new tires-I don't get any squealing. The ride is much more comfortable as compared to the Michelin Defender.

So I drive for a living as a courier and purchase tires every couple of years. This is my third set of CrossClimate's and the grip and handling is such a huge upgrade from the stock tires that come on the vehicles. It's always a little stark because as tires get to the end of their life, you feel them lose their grip in wet and dry situations, but they roll very easy which leads to the best mileage you'll ever get in a vehicle. When swapping to these you instantly notice the grip on turns, how straight the car stays even when tires slightly spin in the rain, and the significantly shorter stopping distance. I typically drop about 4-5 mph in small sedans upon initial switching, but the safety advantages make driving so much easier on my mind! We've had these on a 2020 Honda Civic Hatchback, a 2015 Toyota Sienna Minivan, and now on my 2023 VW Jetta. The improved performance and safety was felt immediately when switching from all the vehicles previous tires, including another Michelin in the van. So while I wish they rolled a little better for gas mileage, I still have to give them 5 stars for overall performance and safety! *They are also very quiet!

Overall these are good tires and I am glad I bought them. First, even though they are “all weather” and usuable year round, I swap them out for dedicated winter tires, so I cannot comment on how they preform in severe winter conditions. However, soon after putting them on this spring (March 2024), we had a few cm’s of snow in the Toronto area. They handled this spring snowfall and resulting messy roads effortlessly. In normal commuter driving around the city and during one long distance highway trip I have taken, they have preformed very well in all aspects, steering, braking, accelerating and ride, whether it is sunny or wet, the road is perfect or bumpy. The one draw back is there is some tread growl. I drive a 2017 Mazda 3, which isn’t a whisper quite car, and the tread noise tends to blend in with the normal Mazda sound in a way that does not make it annoying. However if quiet running is a key priority for you, there are probably other tires that will better meet your needs.

Bought Cross Climate for Honda CrV 2019 and 5000 miles later had 2 punctures episodes. Both looked and felt the same - knock-knock sound - and screw inside the tire thread. I googled “puncture resistance of Cross Climate tires” and found the same cases. I generally like Michelin products but this one is very disappointing.

I bought these tires based on reviews, particularly in Consumer Reports. They are everything I have come to expect from Michelin tires! Great handling, quiet, smooth ride. I've driven on Michelin tires for years now and these are the best I've ever had.

Much better than expected.  Really good in the deep wet snow.   Excellent in wet.  Also good on dry, in fact very good. I run studded Michelin North 4 in winter for our brutal climate (calgary) but I had to leave them on late into the spring as we get late snow and my summers were performance summers and you dont dare go on any snow what so ever.  Three sets is too much for 90 percent of drivers but this saves my studs for the dec / jan feb when I need then.  In fact they are so good on dry that when my performance summers wear out i'll just use these. in my size.  225/40/18    the Cross climate 2 are 90 percent of my pilot sports   The compromise for winter was not as much as I was expecting and the same for summer ,  They are a tiny bit noisy compares to a luxury touring tire.

Great in traction in rain. Was constantly hydroplaning in previous performance tires. Now I Cruze right through everything. Great snow performance as well and I would even say have better traction than the snow tires I had on before. Also, reduced a lot of the road noise I had with performance tires. Traction in dry conditions is also great as well.

I bought these tires for my MKX last January (2021) and was immediately satisfied with the way they drove through snow and slush along with how they handled ice. I just bought an Aviator with size 275/40R22 and you don't make them yet. Please have them ready for me next winter.

Bought these last fall for my 2017 XT5. The tires perform well in all conditions, very quiet under all highway conditions, concrete and asphalt. Looking for a second set for another of my cars. I rotate every 10k miles, the first rotation highlighted no noticeable wear pattern. Way to go Michelin…….

Bought these to go on a Toyota Corolla hatchback, then it snowed like crazy during Last part of December 2021. The ultimate test on how well they work, we are not disappointed. Even during the worst snow, and driving to conditions, these tires saved the day!
