Lattice Apple Pie

Rather bland. Lacking full flavor of apple pie. Could be improved with more spice, cinnamon, etc.

Large size gives nice portions for dinner and picnics. Taste like homemade.

Best Apple Crisp Pie

Apple Pie fresh from the Bakery

I have purchased 4-5 of these pies, and the last two were underbaked with several gummy parts of the crust that was, frankly, disgusting. The apples were not done enough and it was overly sweet the last two times.
   The first few apple pies we got were great. Then, something happened. 
   The first time we got a bad one, I thought it was just a fluke. But sadly, this most recent (and last) purchase was awful too. I wasn't hungry when I first opened and served it. The next night, I couldn't understand why nobody wanted another slice. I tasted it for the first time, and knew why. The rest of the pie was tossed in the trash. What a waste.

Quality Has Gone Downhill

The Honeycrisp Apple Lattice Pie was excellent. Our family enjoyed it immensely! I plan to have another at our Thanksgiving meal. Food items I purchase at Sam’s never disappoint.
