Different people have different tastes. I really like the fizz and flavor of Original Alka-Seltzer. I have developed over the years a more pronounced problem with heartburn, regardless of how careful I am to stay away from acidic foods and drinks. Alka-Seltzer always helps. It does taste a tiny bit salty compared to some other tablets on the market, but if I just drink it like it is seltzer water (which it really is, mostly) it's fine.

That's how good this stuff is! I suffer from GERD and nothing takes the edge off like Alka seltzer. Plus, if I need something fast acting for overall pain or headache - nothing hits quicker. The taste may be acquired - but I personally love it. Just like soda water.

Sam's Club doesn't seem to have gotten the memo that Alka-Seltzer changed their whole product and unethically packages it the same as the original. Alka-Seltzer Original, which is what they are selling here, is no more. Now Alka-Seltzer sells the exact same box with the words “original flavor” in place of “original”. Original flavor isn't even an antacid - it is just effervescent aspirin.  So I ordered this an got effervescent aspirin. Sam's Club is not alone. Every pharmacy I have checked also don't know there is a difference. Super shady of Alka-Seltzer.

Ive been taking alka-seltzer since the 50s. My grandmother (1898-1979) found it to be very effective and passed on the tradition to me when my stomach was upset. It has always given me instant relief and ergo i can easily, and very strongly, recommend this product to everyone. Surf the net until you find a price%26 number of tablets that fit your budget. About 95% of the time Walmart has the best prices on all sizes.
