I have been a Michelin tire buyer all my life and this is the worse tire I have ever bought . Had them for three weeks and they are so cheap made that I barely hit a curve and it knocked a hole in the side. Not sure if I will ever buy another Michelin tire.

Michelin has always been my go to tires, but I am getting a bit frustrated with its thread life. Put on Premier LTX before the Cross Climate 2. While the Premier LTX lasted only lasted 36,718 miles instead of the promised 60,000 miles in nearly three years of use, the Cross Climate 2 only saw 30,000 miles before the dealer refused to service them. After switching to the more expensive Cross Climate 2 with deeper threads, I thought I would get longer life but alas, here we are after only 30,000 miles of use and threads are already below 2/32" according to the dealer. While the tires are good otherwise, thread life of 30000 for tires with a promise of 60000 miles is simply not acceptable. Basically crapping out at half the warranty distance in less than 20 months (1 year - 8 months) of us. Micheline essentially replaced their discontinued Premier line with a less durable product and reduced the warranty distance so they do not have to cover warranty

This is my second set of these tires and I couldn’t be happier with them. They have excellent grip in the rain! While they are no specifically snow tires, they are not bad in the snow. They are long wearing and honestly, if my cars factory set camber was adjustable, they would not have worn in the inside. I still had 7/10 tread on all 4 tires after putting on 69,200 miles, except for the very insides. I had wheel alignments done when I rotated them and after discussing this with several mechanics, it’s my car and not the tires. My gas mileage increased by 4-5 mpg.

Half-life update (30,000 miles). After a fresh rotation and balance, the tires feel new. The 5300lb Lexus handles great with even wear on all four. I recommend these tires to all who would listen. The confidence in bad weather is worth the price. The tires were purchased 12/19/22.

The Michelin Cross Climate 2 are the best tires I've ever purchased! I got over 85,000 miles from my first set of tires and I just bought another set. I love these tires! Traction improvement 100% over my old no name tires. Winter weather has just started in my area and I'm looking forward to seeing how these tires respond on wet, icy pavement. So far, so good. Got really tired of the slipping and sliding so I flashed out for the good stuff even for my old beater. If you can only afford one improvement - get good tires. What are difference tires make! I bought these for my Scion XD, and I notice a difference is most aspects of my driving. I also bought wheels that were slightly wider. The grip is so different. My car is more steady, and doesn't shift at the slightest twist of the steering wheel. I have better traction in cornering, even at low speeds. The ride is smooth and quiet! In the rain, I've had no issues and dont feel.like i have to try to avoid standing water in ruts. I have better traction taking off. These tires make a difference across all aspects of driving and so far in different conditions too! I have more confidence in my car and handling ability! I didn't know new tires would be this impactful!

I've had these tires and when hog two snow storms so far. One we had about 4" and roads were not great to drive on. Snow plows where just trying to keep up on the main roads, on secondary roads where I was it deep. With. my vehicle in locked axle mode with both front and rear locked, AWD, I had no p ruble driving over the snow covered roads. I expereincd a minor slip, but was able to recover quickly. Driving in this weather you need to drive slower, but thre tires kept up and kept me going.

I am very well pleased with my Michelin Tires-Cross Climate. The driving factor behind my Cross Climate purchase was safety. The fact that I bought Michelin was a given.
