This Laptop Desk works great. I didn't realize that it had space to put my laptop and other goodies, but it does. Don't think I would use it as a carrying case for everyday use, but it works great.

During a recent family emergency, I was constantly on the move. This lap desk made it incredibly easy to carry my laptop, charger, mouse, and notebook all in one sturdy, portable unit. I highly recommend it to anyone needing a reliable workspace anywhere.

I've used a numbere of lap desks over the years, and this is the first one I've found that was actually designed to be usable. It was not too heavy or too flimsy. It also doesn't look like a board with a pillow attached to the bottom; I can use it at home but wouldn't be ashamed to be seen in public or at a location with a client using it. It has a convenient handle and just enough padding to due the job. There is a zippered pocket on the bottom that could hold a laptop, some writing implements, or important papers, when the desk is not in use. It has a professional look and could pass as a business case when carried with the desk toward the body. I probably will buy a second one to keep in the car.

The table part is very nice and sturdy The mouse pad is a bit small. Haven't tried the phone holder. The storage compartment is well made. However, the lap portion is stuffed with foam instead of "beans". That kind of filling make to lap pad hard and doesn't conform to the legs. It would be difficult to travel with.

I have purchased 2 of these, and while I love my lapdesk, I wish there was a ridge/blockage of some type on the right side pad so items won't slide off.

Overall utility is good for right handed users, only. Design change required to accommodate left handed users as well.

I was more impressed with this item once I actually used it. There is a special spot for the mouse, which was really neat and I like the side panel for the mouse use. I initially ordered this for use at the Kingdom Hall for taking notes while during our meetings. I have found that using it at home works as well when sitting in my recliner.

It is ok overall. Priced right with good quality. The only two thing that made me return it. 1- the stud at the lower end does not hold the laptop from slipping. It needs to be higher to stop the laptop from slipping. 2- the mouse area also needs to be rough enough to hold the mouse from slipping. Remember this is a table that will move as my body moves and will never be level stable.
