I recently had total knee replacement surgery and developed complications with scar tissue build-up on the patella tendon, femur, and tibia. After undergoing a post-op knee manipulation to break up the scar tissue, I bought the Wirk cycle to use to keep my knee loose and to use it in the rehabilitation process. My left knee was replaced two years ago and my right hip is being considered fr replacement. This bike is wonderful in the rehab stage in keeping me loose, redeveloping the muscle strength in my legs and hips, and overall health as a whole. In addition, it has helped in improving my cardiovascular health and in weight loss. I have lost over 30 pounds since my surgery and kept it off.

I'd been trying to figure out how to attach a shelf-like structure to my old stationary bike so I could use my work laptop while riding. Then I saw a spoof video of a bicycle with a laptop holder. I wondered if there really was one for stationary bicycles. Yes! And one comes attached to a stationary bike. The bike is more compact than my old one, so I can move from the basement to the living room! I put it together fairly easily. I had only pedaled a little bit for the past three days when it started to make a noise. I discovered in reviews on Amazon that the noise was due to the pedal connection not being tightened enough. I tightened it. It seems to be back to whisper quiet again. Phew! The placement of the bottle holder makes the laptop sit off-center to the right. I'll figure out a way to hold my bottle somewhere else on the bike. The cup holder is a little more than 1 1/2 inches deep - too deep for my handled glasses and mugs which is a good thing though. The lever to move the front upright post is easy to move with the foot to allow for easy entry and exit. I put my manual and tools in a bag that hangs from the handrails off the back - keeps them handy.

Very sturdy and good quality. It was simple to put together solo and I am a petite female with no special skills - I just followed the instructions step-by-step. This unit is super quiet, so it would be great for new moms. The large worksurface with tilt-up tab makes it awesome for using your tablet or phone. Love the cupholder too! I am a bit out of shape so I'm using it at a low tension right now but still feel like I'm getting my heart rate up. I believe I will be happily using this unit for many years to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in January and LOVE it. The price was right and I sort of crossed my fingers that the quality would be solid. It is! The workstation (bike) was easy to put together and is very sturdy. I ride anywhere from 20-90 minutes per day and it's been great. It's also very easy to move, so I can easily schlep it from my office into the family room if I want to watch TV while I bike. The adjustable desk part of the bike makes it incredibly usable - I use it for reading, working on my laptop, and even as a standing desk sometimes. I separately bought a workout puzzle mat the put underneath the bike, so it hasn't made an indent in my carpet and it makes for a more comfortable standing workstation, as well. I love my Wirk workstation!

I would certainly recommend it for the price. I wanted something that would help me move more while I work on my computer for 8 hours + a day. This was a great answer. I listed out the pros and cons. Don't think you can beat it for the money. I spend a few hours on it a day. The biggest negative is the seat. Pros: Very Stable Sturdy Silent operation Adjustable desk in height and distance to user Quality material Easy to put together Back rest Easy to move around with the wheels Cons: Missing 4 screws which required a trip to Lowes Small and uncomfortable seat after 5 minutes. - Added a big pillow to it

I bought this bike specifically so I could use it as a desk and ride at the same time. Unfortunately, the seat is extremely uncomfortable and made it difficult to use for any length of time. I had to buy a seat pad because it was unbearable. The seat is large so the pad doesn't fit exactly because the seat is so large but it's definitely required. Plan to spend some extra money on a seat cover when purchasing this bike.

I've had the bike a few weeks and so far I really like it. It has kept me active way more than I would have been normally. I do wish the work surface was slightly wider and just a little sturdier but those are just nitpicky. By sturdy I only means it is a little shaky when you really start moving but it works just fine. The only addition I would like is a cell phone holder or drawer. With my laptop and water bottle on the work surface, my phone doesn't fit great and it tends to slide but so far I have managed well. Overall I am pleased with my purchase and recommend it.

This came yesterday and my 12 year old daughter assembled in easily in about half an hour. We have to take turns using it as we both like it a lot. Was going to take it to work, but now think having it in front of the tv will generate much more exercise.

Have had this for a couple of years...still working fine and I am using it!. Had some medical issues that prevented use for a bit. But am back on track. It is so nice and compact that I can use it in my living room. Can watch TV , read or play games on my kindle...whatever I need to keep going. And between its use and diet I have lost 50 pounds! Can only choose one reason for use but I have several.. Weight loss, stamina and general health.

Love it! My friend set it up, and it didn't take him long at all. It's very comfortable to sit on. It's sturdy. the table top fits my large laptop. I haven't bothered using the tracker because I'm not really interested in that, so I can't attest to that. It's also lightweight and easy to move around.
