Great Tire!

My 2008 Ford F250 Super Duty 4x4 came with tires. I love them. No road noise, consistant wear across front and rear. I have 77,000 miles on them and could do about another 3k but the treads getting to the point where off road theres little grip and I need a front end alighment. I do about half my driving as towing and most as highway or rural roads, very little city. No problem tires.

Excellent tire...on my second set!

Excellent all around tire for highway, road, trail, snow/ice, etc.! In my location, the tires are constantly exposed to extreme sunlight so my first set succumbed to sun damage after 6 years - well before the tread life was up. They have handled and held up so well I bought the same tires again.

Happy Customer

We have had Michelin Defender tires before and loved them. They rode nice and smooth on our 2011 Toyota Sienna. Then we hit a nail on the sidewall and our dealer was out of Defenders. We regret putting other tires on. Just put our 3rd new set of Defenders on and happy.

These tires have been ...

These tires have been very good overall. The wet surface breaking has a lot to be desired however. The tires have been very good in mud and snow. Better than I thought they would be for not having an aggressive tread pattern. The tires are quite going down the highway. The tires are wearing very good even though I have done burnouts and amateur drifting. I will definitely be looking at another set of these tires when it comes time to purchase a new set of tires.

Great

In 2004 I purchased a 2004 Ford F-250 Super Duty Crew Cab 4x4 with a diesel engine. This truck came equipped with BF Goodrich Rugged Trail T/A in LT265/75R16. This vehicle in itself is heavy and I also pull a 30' fifth wheel when vacationing. I drive 60 miles a day to and from work and much of it is in 4 wheel drive. As of today I have 105,338 miles on these tires and believe they still have 25% of the tread left. I will be replacing them soon because I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where the winters are hard and long, old saying is 9 months of winter and 3 months of poor sledding. Thank you for a great product, I will be looking for another BF Goodrich product for a replacement.

These replaced a factory ...

These replaced a factory set of Michelin LTXs on my Honda Ridgeline. The Rugged Trails are not as elegant (increased road noise, looser handling) but the overall performance (comfort, directional control, braking, wet performance) is comparable. I do tow a travel trailer. They handle the load better than the LTXs but they do cause a little more wander on the road. I would not want to do daily commuting on these (noisy) but for overall truck utility, they are at a better price point and offer better value than the Michelin LTX.

Record Wear

I have a F350 King Ranch Dually and have 138,400 Miles on my original factory BF Goodrich 17" tires, they have never been off the truck to date, and still going. Never rotated, never anything done to them except 1 plug from a nail hole. Maybe have 5,000 miles life left then time for new ones.

142,800 miles and they ...

142,800 miles and they still had 4/32 tread on them. I was going to make them last to 150,000 but I got a hole in the right front tire that was to close to the sidewall to fix. Definately bought the same tires for replacement. I will be disappointed if my new ones don't go 150,000 miles. lol

Horrible

I would not recommend these tires to anyone. I purchased them one week shy of two years ago and just spent the last three hours getting new tires. They only lasted 25k miles. I drive mostly in city or highway. They only went off road a couple of times, on very easy trails. I am so disappointed! They look good, that's about it.

18k miles and about to replace

These are the oem tires on my Xterra off-road and after only 18k miles they will need to be replaced. I don't do any hard driving, mostly light city driving and occasionally highway. The side walls are cracking, so I am not even sure they will make it to the end of summer. The tread is so low at this point that they will absolutely have to be replaced by winter for safety reasons.
