Re-shoe for worn out soles

Great Tire so far. Our 2023 GMC Acadia SLT factory Primacy Tour A/S tires were good but were getting low on tread depth at 40,000 miles. With all the home reconstruction going on in Treasure Island, FL, due to last year's double whammy of a 3' of tidal surge and then Hurricane winds two weeks later, the "balding " tires were getting prone to debris/construction material nails, shards, etc.

Great Looking Tire Had to Replace New

Tires came stock on my new 2011 Nissan Titan Pro 4X. The vehicle contnued to develope a vibration and at 800 miles was unbearable. All 4 tires were road force balanced and found to be defective (out of round-flat spotted). BF Goodrich warranty service was fantastic as they authorized 4 new tires of my choosing. I elected to go with the LTX Michelin's since Michelin owns BF Goodrich however, the dealer replaced them with the same Rugged Trails which from reveiwing the BF Goodrich website are no longer produced. Replacement tires are much much better (road forced balanced again). Still not the smoothest of rides but acceptable.

I have BF Goodrich Rugged ...

I have BF Goodrich Rugged Trail T/A tires on my Ford F 150 for 4 yrs, they now have 51,000 miles on them. They are the long lasting, quiet on hwy, great off road and the wear indicators are not even close to thread yet. when they need replacement I will buy the same great tire.

Excellent Tires

I bought the tires a day ago. I did not put to many miles on them in one day, but I can already tell that these are excellent tires. Very quiet, great dry grip and great handling and ride comfort. My old tires (the new tires the car came with) were Goodyear Assurance Finesse. They were quiet, but not very grippy and they only lasted 3 years/40,000 miles.

Belays split in tread on every tire

Drive lots of highway miles and every tire wore out the exact same, a goose egg split in the bands down the center of the tread. Front two gave out at 45000 in 2.5 years and the rears now just a 3 years and 50000... low grade tire for slightly higher price compared to off brand

Two Sets Down, Probably Go w/ Third Set

I am closing out my second set of these tires on a 2007 Toyota Tundra. Am seriously considering a third set because I have had good luck thus far. Have averaged 55K/set so far. I could run this second set a little further, but I think it makes sense to not push things from a safety perspective, particularly where wet road traction is concerned. I am a little concerned with some of the comments on this site regarding sidewall cracking, but I am pretty sure that I will once again choose this tire for my third set. I will definitely post an updated review if things don't work out well!

Exceeded Expectations

Have had these tires on my truck for the last 7 years / 90,000 miles (give or take) in all season northern Nevada weather and I am just now replacing them due to two tires being slashed. You can bet I am keeping one of the remaining two as a spare, thoough. These tires are more than worth it.

Worst tires ever

Worst tires ever. I just bought a new 2013 Toyota Tacoma with these tires on the truck that had 3 miles on it when i purchased it.. They were part of the T.R.D. off road package as a factory upgrade. Well i just put 3,052 miles on the truck and while doing my first 5,000 mile/6 month service oil change and tire rotation i discovered huge cracks between the treads. It was on all 4 tires in the same area of the treads of the 4 tires. Ive never been off road or abused these tires one bit i drive like an old lady or so im told and i think its ridiculous that i have to get a new set of tires at 3,052 miles. Word of caution if i had these on my vehicle i would pay close attention and watch for the cracks that develop next to the treads on the tires. I will never except a new vehicle with these junk tires on it again.Im allso told BF will prorate my tires for a fee to replace them. That is absolutely unacceptable, i buy a brand new truck with 3 miles on it and six months and 3,052 miles later the treads are cracking badly and im told I have to PAY a prorate on these garbage tires???? I thought for sure id get 50,000 miles the way i drive but 3,052 miles , i cant afford new tires every 3,000 miles save your money and stress and get something else. I would upload a pic but it doesnt allow me.Im an A.S.E certified automotive technician with 15 years experience and a New York State Licensed auto inspector. Really stressed and dissapointed with these tires maybe they would be good for a tire swing but i think thats even pushing it for these tires.

Excellent tire...on my second set!

Excellent all around tire for highway, road, trail, snow/ice, etc.! In my location, the tires are constantly exposed to extreme sunlight so my first set succumbed to sun damage after 6 years - well before the tread life was up. They have handled and held up so well I bought the same tires again.

Tire seems weak

I think this tire may not be sturdy enough for an F-250 Soprt Duty. This tire seems "squishy". The vehicle seems to float too much on smooth, high quality pavement, and worse on worn pavement. Since getting these tires installed, I can say they are quieter than a more rugged tire, but my gas mileage has also dropped 1.5 - 2.5 miles per gallon. I drive mostly on open highways and travel to a country farm frequently. 90% of the mileage is rural. Not much offroad, but the traction is adequate for my purposes. The tire description for this "Rugged Trail" tire says light duty, and I believe this should mean for trucks lighter than an F-250. Maybe the "Rugged Terrain" is a better match. I don't know what to do. I have less than 3,000 miles on them and do not want them for the long haul. The float in these tires make me wonder if there is a defect. My last set of BF Goodrich Rugger "Terrain" were great!
