Second time not a charm

This is the second set of Rugged Trail T/A on my 2003 Explorer. After the first set (OEM) ran nearly 70,000 miles I decided to buy them again. The second set did not last nearly as long, barely 40,000 miles and my driving is still the same. I rotate reguarly and have my alignment checked every six months. Very disappointing. I'm looking for new tires now and I'm reluctant to try them again. I truly can't recommend either way.

Love these tires!!!!

I have not had a new set of tires in quite some time, and I just bought a set for my Rav 4. Love the way they feel, the way they hug the road and feel so much safer. I don't recall ever purchasing Michelin brand before and wish I had for sure! Definitely can tell the difference. It will be the brand I pick and recommend from now on.

worn out at 40000

I just got my 40000 mile service from my Ford Dealer andthe tech came out to tell me that my next visit, I should really think about buying new tires, because they were starting to wear really bad. I didn't believe him. One of the tires has only 25000 miles on it as the valve stem blew out and the tire disinegrated and had to be replaced. Even the replaced tire is worn to the point that after a couple rotations I can no longer tell which tire has the least amount of wear.

This tire has worked very ...

This tire has worked very well on my wife's Ford Escape. They have handled the snowy winters very well. Wet road traction is very good, noise isn't bad, and the life has been over 50k. They do fine on a hard-pack dirt road or light offroad adventures but leave more to be desired for sand or rough terrain. As of now I am planning on installing another set of these tires on the Escape!

Sidewall deteriorating

I have this tire on my 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 Laramie deisel Mega Cab. I have approx 80,000 miles on the tires. The tread is still good for another 10,000 but the sidewall has been deteriorating since 2008. It started on one tire then began to spread to additional tires. I guess I will be forced to replace the tires before the tread is worn out simply because the sidewall looks like it will split anytime. I pull 7 different trailers up and down the highway ahd was very diligent about tire rotation/inflation. I do not believe I have abused the tires would like to replace with same but have my reservations now.

looked good does not last long!

The tires came on my new 2011 Ford dually and after only 24,000 miles the front tires started to scallop and the right front wore the edge off. Had a wheel alignment and found still in factory specs. I replaced all six tires will another brand as the rear showed wear and would need replacement with in a couple months. Will not buy this brand of tires nor accept vehicle with this brand on it .

TIME TO GET ANOTHER SET

My F250 came with these tires and they have been good to me for 4 years and 54,000 miles. I'm shopping for exact replacements because I liked the way they wore and rode. There is still a lot of tread left but they are aging out and I need a dependable tire because I tow a 8000 lb travel trailer. They don't seem to get very good traction on anything other than a solid surface with my long 4x2 truck. I don't use my truck for off road use.

OEM FOR THE TRD OFF ROAD ...

OEM FOR THE TRD OFF ROAD 4X4 are Rugged Well Constructed Tires that Look like New after 20,000 miles and show an even wear pattern- Road Holding is superb at High Speeds- They Maintain Traction in the deepest Snow- or the torrential Rains- of course using sense with the speed to suit conditions-- Bite Hard during emergency Manuevers or Hard Braking---Maintain a Straight line on the highway with no Pull - aggressive Looks and raised letters stay white with no extra effort- Never Lost Air Pressure due to extreme weather fluctuations-- Rugged Trail T/A Provide a Comfortable ride after a bit of breaking in- that could have also been the Off Road Heavy Shock set up for the TRD Version and my only wish would be for 10 % stiffer sidewall- but that would in turn increase ride harshness- SO Since the Toyota Engineers chose this specific tire as best overall- I would have to agree with their pick- Even thought I was Partial to Michelins on my Lexus LS 400 and my Honda Ridgeline- I would have to say thet BF Goodrich Match Michelins Quality and are exceptionally well desgined and I haven't had the slightest hint of a problem of any sort- I couldn't be happier with the ride comfort, a quieter tire than Michelin to now that I think of it- and that is an important factor-- I really have nothing but good things to say about B.F. Goodrich- which I had not had experienced in 20 + years- but will not hesitate to Purchase an Exact Set when it comes time to do so. I appreciate the chance to tell of my good experience with the BF Goodrich of the 21st Century, Thank you for what you do keeping our loved ones safe in our vehicles.

Toyota Tacoma Xtra Cab 2015 39K miles

Good tire on highway, dirt and snow. Not good on miles, did not push these tires hard, mostly highway miles. Just hit the tread bars at 39K and noticing they do not do well in the ran or snow. Lucky for me I purchased another set of wheels that came with these same tires(he said he had about 25K on them) that are just above the tread bars and they handle the snow and rain just fine. Will be interesting then they hit the tread bars will they handle the same as my stock tires did when they hit the tread bar. So my take on these for my Taco and driving style is they are a 40k tire as I do not feel comfortable driving them on snow and rain at posted speed limits when they hit the tread bar. Will not be purchasing them again as I feel there are better tires out there for the money.
