True Orange uses a tiny amount of sugar (<0.5g/packet or 1/8 teaspoon) as a natural bulking agent and not to sweeten the product. This small amount of sugar is considered to be negligible by the FDA, and does not have any effect on blood sugar levels when used in 16 ounces of water/beverages. I like my OJ sweet not so tangy so I mix six orange packets with four stevia packets in a forty ounce tumbler. Absolutely delicious
