These are great sheets for summer sleeping. I personally need to have *something* over me when I sleep, no matter how hot it is. These sheets give me just that with being weighty and oppressive. So, I guess that comes down to personal preference. I also have great appreciation for how easily the fitted sheet goes on without a struggle. Seems like something you should expect but not always so.

I have a deep mattress and these EASILY tuck in nicely, and the elastic is a heavy duty wide band, so corners never slip with the fitted sheet! I didn't even mention the 4 pillow cases, which is pretty unheard of in a sheet set! Seriously you need these!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these thinking the satin-like feel would be cool for the hot months, but find they are a bit warm for the hottest summer months. I think their thickness makes them not breathe as well as regular cotton. However, they do feel really good on the skin, and appear to be made well. I like that we've added this to our sheet rotation, but will simply be mindful of the season. The gray color is a nice, rich tone that compliments our bold colors of duvet.

The only negative thing is they seem to be like Velcro to any pet hair. I have had to throw them in the dryer several times just to get pet hair to come off.
