Hi Jessica, we are sorry you are having issues. Did you make sure when assembling the unit, when adding the top top Cover on the Bowl is twisted all the way till it clicks in place? This is a safety feature and the machine won't turn on until it is safety in place and secure. You can refer to page 8 of the manual. If that doesn't help please feel free to reach out to support@bydash.com and they will assist.
