I absolutely love this and would recommend to everyone! It took me about 20 mins to get together.. Couldn't reach outlet, turn TV on my own, etc. But was super easy to install. Makes movies that much better. And the amount of settings in the app is pretty awesome too. Will be purchasing one for each tv. Make sure you know exactly where you want the camera once mine was stuck I had hell of a time moving it to adjust it.. I was able to move it but was worried I was going to rip the trim off top of the TV. But I know it isn't going to fall off so that's a plus.

For the price, there's nothing anywhere near this! I especially like the fact it uses a camera instead of the hdmi method like the pricier options use because I like to use my built in operating system that came with my smart TV. The colors, however, aren't 100% accurate and it tends to lean heavily on displaying blues for dark or black scenes and pinks instead of reds (even with the contrast all the way down). It's definitely great for movies and video games though

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. ?It takes TV to the next level just be patient and calibrate it and it will work perfectly on the tv! The lights are so bright! And stick very well to my tv! I have a 65in and it fits it perfectly. The camera it comes with is easily ignorable I forget it's even there. Definitely worth the price!

I love the lights. They work great. Two things: 1.) The adhesive on the double stick tape for the hold downs seems a bit weak. Not a big deal. 2.) I use Home Assistant with Govee2MQTT and for most functions it works great. The only thing it lacks is that I would like to create an automation that turns on the Video mode and Dream Mapper whenever a movie starts and I have everything but that option open to me on the API. Once you get that worked out, I might not really have to use the Govee app and just let Home Assistant do everything for me. I used to run concert lights and sound. These lights are as controllable as I like with that and the choices in scenes is great. Govee is my go-to whenever I want this kind of stuff. Thank you!

I'm really happy with this purchase. The install was easy, the camera reads the screen well (I calibrated about an inch in from the very edges per online recommendations), and the colors really pop! It seems like the camera doesn't seem to know quite what to do with gray, but all the primary and secondary colors get tracked well. Also nice to know that the camera can be mounted on the bottom of the T.V. so you can hide it behind a sound bar. One thing I didn't like is that the LED strips just barely fit on my 55-inch T.V. in the position that I wanted. I didn't want the ends of the wires to show around the corners, so I had to move the LED strips slightly in from the very edge and use the provided clips to secure the ends at a somewhat odd angle. Other than that, I would say that I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase at this price point. Would highly recommend if you want to add a little zazz to your gaming or movie setup without breaking the bank.

No better than the T2 Pro. The problem isn't can't get white enough. But can't calibrate to near white any better than the T2 Pro. I have the original older T1 Govee backlight and camera white balance gets near white. Maybe it's the second TV that I've installed the T2 Pro and T3 Lite on? Full disclosure: the T2 is installed on a color calibrated TV. The second TV is not color calibrated. If that's the reason, disregard this review. I never tried the T2 Pro or the T3 Lite on the calibrated TV because of the larger size (not compatible with the 55" size of second TV that these later Govee models were ordered for).

I bought another ser of lights capable of dreamview, but my t1 wont update past 1.06.02 to 1.9 or higher which is what i need to achieve the setup, and before anyone says anything i did reset, delete and reinstalled and also same with the app, and restart wifi.

I felt like I hooked it up wrong, I could get almost everything to work except for matching colors from the screen. It would only show blue. After syncing it again, I remembered that there were a couple darker spots on my screen. The camera picked up the darker blue spots more than any other color on the screen. Honestly, I think there are to many other options I ended up trying these on another TV and they work great!

ABSOLUTELY Enhances the Movie experience. Worth every penny, Govee puts my other backlight to shame. It took me maybe 10 to 12 attempts for recalibration on my TV and maybe 2 or 5 attempts at making sure the camera was perfectly aligned in the middle atop my t.v. Once you get it right its obvious. Back light colors will match perfectly with what colors are on the TV. Taking your time is very important, and don't be afraid to keep recalibrating until you get it right.

What a way to elevate your viewing experience! I have a 4K 55-inch TV on a mobile steel cart and bought a 100-inch fabric projector screen on stands to serve as a background. This immersion backlight adds a lot of value to movie and TV watching while easing eye strain.Outstanding, Govee!
