Best boxed buttery chardonnay

For a long time I swore I'd never buy “wine in a box.” When I saw the Nighthawk offering a buttery Chardonnay, I thought to give it a try. Oh my goodness: so delicious! I was blown away. I only buy Nighthawk

I’ve been drinking it for years and I love it! Had been looking for a more sustainable wine that was drinkable and after a long search, found this. It’s a tiny bit of a “learning curve” if your taste buds are used to a more “refined” wine, but a half glass in and it opens up and gives you a delightful drinking wine with lots of balance and a fine finish. Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed the Bota Box Buttery Chardonnay white wine. It was smooth and flavorful. The box was easy to open and the valve was easy to maneuver on the bottom opening for easy access. I like the fact that the wine will last for 30 days without losing its flavor. This is a nice option for people who do not want to drink wine every day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great bang for your buck! The taste of this wine is great as an everyday drinking wine or patio sipper. Packaging is good for taking on the go and storing in the fridge. Quality and aroma is right on point. Would recommend for summer sipping!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am normally not a Chardonnay kind of girl nor a box wine person, but I will say I am impressed with this wine. The box has a self seal so if you want a glass now and then next week, the wine will still taste good. If comes with a spout to pour. Overall a great product.

I'll give it 4.5 out of 5 but....this was my first Nighthawk Gold box and frustration with the box. Someone or machine assembled the bag upside down. I had to open the box, pour a large glass (very good) try to insert the spout in the proper direction. The difficulty with this was the spout nozzle would not enter the carton opening unless I puored out enough to allow it to bend into the box opening. I really enjoyed the wine but...maybe Bota could send a coupon for the trouble. Ha Ha!

In my opinion, this is way too sweet for a Chardonnay; especially one being touted as a “buttery” one.

I bought this based on my loyalty to the other Nighthawk selections. This "Buttery Chardonnay"? Would NOT recommend. No depth, no true Chardonnay flavor and it was drinking a marshmallow. Not good and do not recommend.

I bought this a few days ago and it is the worst Chardonnay I’ve ever tasted! I don’t know why others think it’s so good! It was bitter and terrible! I only drank it because I paid for the box. I finally had to cut with sprite. I’m not a novice drinker and Chardonnay is always my choice. This was a waste of my money!
