Legit, Cool Cotton Candy Crunch

I didn't realize I had purchased COTTON CANDY grapes. I thought I was just getting green grapes. I took a bite, thought "This tastes like cotton candy!" and then looked at the packaging to see the label. I'm amazed at these! The grape's flavor, crunch and size was wonderful!

Yummy, crunchy and sweet

Delicious, crunchy and sweet. Kids favorite type of grapes so it’s a healthy snack and dessert on the go. Guilt free snack! We repurchase this often because the box doesn't last long in our house. Kids love to wash and free them for a refreshing snack in the summer or hot spring days.

Cotton Candy Grapes

These are exceptional grapes. I was wondering why they are only available certain times of the year. I really appreciate the $1.00 off coupon as my family loves these grapes. I noticed there was a 6 purchase limit per membership and I wasn't sure if that was daily or while they were available. Regardless, thanks for making them available.

Holy fair time, Batman, these grapes ROCK!!!

I have been completely addicted to Cotton Candy Grapes since I first bit into one about a year ago; most grapes just aren’t as sweet as I remember them from my childhood…SOME decades ago! We had a lattice Concord grapevine that would explode with beautiful dark purple grapes that tasted like Welch’s grape juice…you know the dark purple grape juice we all had as kids. Can someone please tell me why no grape, not even ‘black’ (Concord), taste line Welch’s Concord grape juice or grape jelly? The bottle says 100 percent grape juice?!! The grapes off the lattice when I was a kid did! Well, until I find a grape that tastes like a Concord grape, and maybe even after…THIS brand of Cotton Candy Grapes are a GREAT substitute! Cotton Candy grapes at Sam’s come from South America or Africa, but this brand is from Mexico. By FAR, this brand out lasts the others and are consistently flavored; some of the other brands are hit-and-miss when it comes to flavoring, and they turn brown only a couple of days after purchasing them. This brand lasts well over 2 WEEKS in my fridge and are great when frozen, too! Perhaps the others take longer to get here because of the added distance from the sources. The ONLY problem with these beauties is they are sometimes out of stock for weeks or even a month at a time. If you love them like I do, all I can say is freeze some in anticipation of those outages and you will be set! How do you freeze grapes, you ask? Here’s how… Rinse your grapes and dry or let them air dry. Place them on trays or plates or anything flat with a piece of parchment paper on it…single layer is how I do it but you might be able to layer them. Place he tray into the freezer for about 20 minutes, or till frozen through; they will change in appearance from semi-translucent to opaque green like olives. Fill an air-tight plastic container with the grapes…NOT the parchment paper (it’s only to keep the grapes from sticking to the tray until they are frozen). As you can see in my photos below, I use the emptied containers from the Member’s Mark Sea Salt Caramels (they are like water to fish!). I remove the label and wash out with regular dish soap, Dawn, before using for the grapes. Take the frozen grapes out anytime in the summer for a cold treat on hot days, or put in the fridge for an hour or two to thaw. They may not be as ‘crisp’ as they were before freezing them, but they won’t be ‘mushy’. The grapes are SWEET; after all, cotton candy is just spun sugar!! Give them a try…if you don’t like ‘sugary-sweet’ stuff you might not like them as much as I do. But if you like cotton candy or other sweets I bet the farm you will. ENJOY!

Not as sweet as they used to be. Disappointing.

I used to love getting cotton candy grapes because they were so sweet and had a cotton candy aftertaste that was amazing. They were always so sweet and delicious. I don't know what the difference is now but the last five or six times I've gotten them, they weren't that great. They had a very mild cotton candy taste but were not that sweet at all. If my eyes were closed and someone put it in my mouth, I would never have guessed cotton candy grape. It's disappointing because I loved to buy a lot and put some in a gallon ziplock bag in the freezer for a sweet treat as well as fresh. I honestly don't even want to waste my money on them anymore, especially since they are more expensive than other varieties.

Good not great

These tend to spoil faster than other brands sold at SAMS they ate smaller so maybe thats why. My family can eat a container in about a week and sometimes by day 4 there is some spoilage. Otherwise good grapes

Not the best

The quality of the batch I chose from was not stellar but I needed grapes for team snacks. They looked more grayish than green and seemed dirty or muddy. I thought the cotton candy flavor would overshadow the way they looked and I figured a good cleaning or soaking before eating would be fine. Turned out they were on the mushy side and the cotton candy flavor was not prevalent. It tssted like regular grapes to me and still looked dismal after cleaning. Very few of the kids ate their grapes.

Horrible

There needs to be more quality control on produce. Lately they've been bruised up, rotten and/or with mold. These looked horrible and small compared to how they usually look

Cotton Candy Grapes

These are normally very sweet and delicious hence the name, so thats why I didn't mind paying the price compared to other grapes. This particular time I had them delivered and they were tastless and alot of them were too soft and didnt hold its shape or firmness as usual. It was so bad that I had to threw them out. I was very disappointed. It was not worth the sacrifice this time.
