I ordered the G1 Pro kit direct. When it arrived I was surprised at the build quality, the cables are sturdy and flexible, the light brightness from each tower is very bright and installation was easy to. I appreciate the detail in the setup instructions for the camera calibration. The Govee app works as it should and is easy to use.

They sent me a tracking number less than 30 minutes after ordering from their website and it arrived at my house in 2 days. The G1 Pro was well packaged, easy to install and looks amazing on both videos and games. This has taken my setup to a new level and has been a lot of fun using it everyday. Well done Govee!

So I plug them in expectantly with a white screen the lights show yellow! Me: ! So I calibrated it-and they work amazingly now! So my monitor does have a large hump on the back-and Govee says that that is not good-but it doesn't seem to matter. My desk has a hutch on it, and I was afraid that it would hinder the camera, but I did some fiddling and got it working! See my picture below !. After about 10 min of calibration and recalibration, it was up and running. The little button on top doesn't actually click, it's kind of like a touch screen. The DIYs pop and are super smooth, as the rope has 3 lights per IC.

I actually got this light to fit onto my 34"monitor. Took a little finagling but I got it on ok. I really like how bright the colors are. I was looking for a monitor backlight cause it looks cool and I figured it would reduce some eye strain when gaming at night, and this fits the bill. I haven't tried out the gaming camera feature cause I have a second monitor just above my main one. It was a little annoying that the power cable for both the light and the camera goes through the camera, so you can't operate the device without the camera at least being plugged in. One other downside is the app. There's so much functionality but it's very confusing and somewhat poorly laid out. All in all though, it does what it says on the tin. Would recommend, especially if you can find it on sale.

Set up was very finnicky. We had to cut the alignment card up into pieces and measure ourselves in order to position the clips evenly. And no matter how I place the camera on my screen, the colors aren't accurate. Have calibrated the camera multiple times. Not sure what the issue is.

So the lights are awsome nice and bright! It also works great with alexa very easy set up! I did run into a few problems like I feel the colors do not go with my screen color, solid colors yes but when my game is mostly blue the lights show red they show more red then anything. The only other thing would be the adhesive on the back of the product is honestly garbage they are already falling off not even a couple days of having it! But other then those 2 problems the product is awsome!

The new guide tracks have a rubber piece held on by adhesive, and I've used my lights a lot and most of those rubber pieces have come off. Not to mention the camera is extremely finicky and I have to constantly keep adjusting it because the spring action pulls the camera back from the position it was resting in. The slight heat can cause the adhesive to slip so I ended up taping a bunch of them down. I figured the price point would justify itself but as of right now that is clearly not the case. I have made the lights able to pass, they look great but because the back of my monitor is slightly variable, I had to make some loopholes.

This was bought by mistake. I thought it was monitors
