Guys if you’re looking to buy a scooter for an older child but you’re just not sure…. Look no further. Yes this is the scooter for you. My son is 5’6 and 13 years old and this scooter fits him perfectly. He can maneuver it very easily and it’s quite a smooth ride. I then also bought the same scooter for my 9 year old who is quite tall for age and she was able to use it as well. She mentioned it feels sturdier than her old one, it folds easily, kickstand and it’s smooth. I highly recommend using the you tube video to put it together it took me about 5 minutes to put it together (and I’m not handy) so that should tell you a lot. I’m giving these scooters a 5 out of 5. I actually enjoy this light weight scooter. I only use it for an 1 hour to 2 hours to commute to work after riding the bus / train. sometimes public transportation can be full! but luckily this scooter is small enough to not get left behind. E scooters are cool and all but if you're just going to use it for less than 1 hour a day for work, this is nice! Makes life more enjoyable aside from all the technology we have nowadays. I'm almost 30 , probably 180 lbs , 5'4 and it does it's job. I would recommend

I’m 59, 210 lbs, and I’d never ridden a kick scooter in my life. Two hours after assembly, I was cruising along with both feet on the deck like a skateboard—smooth and stable. The wheels are fantastic; they roll forever on even asphalt with barely a kick needed. The only quality concern I’ve noticed is that the handlebar pole keeps misaligning with the front wheel, no matter how tightly I screw it. That said, I might be partly to blame—I was also carrying a gym bag and a 3-liter water bottle, so I was probably pushing 220 lbs. 😅 Even then, the ride stayed impressively smooth. Overall, a fun and solid scooter—just watch the weight limit if you're hauling extra gear!

It's a good scooter. I am 47 years old and new to kick scooters and in only my first week I am up to almost 9mph average speed. That is 3x faster than walking. And I am sedentary and out of shape. This scooter works well as a form of "last mile" transportation. It is easy to fold up and bring it on the bus or train. Even during rush hour you can fit the scooter under the seat or between your legs. It is a bit heavy at 15 lbs, if that is an issue the Razor Lux A5 is lighter and made with better parts and goes faster. But this one was on sale for $40 compared to $100 for the Lux A5. Buy a universal scooter carrying strap and it's easy to walk up stairs and carry the scooter. I am happy with the purchase and at the low price I would not feel so bad if I get mugged or someone steals the scooter. It's actually convenient to carry the scooter and bring it inside the supermarket or Walmart. Probably a better idea than to leave it locked to a bike rack. I am in Miami with high crime and high rate of bicycle and scooter theft. The only complaint is the 15 lb weight when other scooters are closer to 10:lbs. However the higher weight is because the scooter is made of steel and will be more durable than lighter scooters. Assembly was less than 10 minutes and it includes all tools such as hex key wrench. A good upgrade for fastest speed would be to change the Abec 7 bearings to Ceramic bearings such as BoneZ. But you can do the upgrade later because the stock configuration is good enough for most people's needs. Highly recommend this scooter although the price of electric scooters has finally dropped to $160 for a 500w electric scooter that goes 19mph so it might make more sense to go that route or to own both and use this Mad Gear Kruzer 200 for short trips or for when you go to a high crime neighborhood. To lock the scooter you may want to consider a handcuff scooter chain.

I'm a college student, so this is a GREAT help in getting from class to class! It was very easy to assemble, the size is perfect and it holds my weight. (I'm 5'2 and around 185 lbs). My boyfriend, who is 6 ft 150lbs, can also ride this comfortably. The handlebars have a great grip, so this is a plus for when it rains or when it really hot outside.

The scooter took about 20 minutes to build and my 7 year old loves it. The big wheels make it safer when he hits bumps/holes and the ride is smooth. I’m planning to get one for my 10 year old as well.

We love these scooters! You will not be disappointed. I very much dislike a razor scooter but these are way different. Very easy to put together, a nice smooth ride, cute color, and easy for 5 yr olds but big fun for older kids too. I take them with in my small car to all the games and practices so the other children have something fun they can do too!

Bought for my 9yr old daughter's birthday. We love the smooth ride %26 the color is so pretty! Her Dad was also able to ride with ease. Previously owned an electric scooter from a different brand that never held a charge %26 was inconvenient for our lifestyle.

Good size for a kid or adult. Downside I didn't realize these type of tires would be annoying compared to air filled tires. Still feel every bump in the road. I like that it folds. Would recommend if you have smooth concrete to ride on. Where we live the roads are blacktop and it's not the best shape. We are going to need an upgrade to pneumatic tires.

It was kinda easy to assemble until you get to the part where you have to connect the long handle bar part to the rest of the scooter, which when I tightened the bolts the pole still comes out. I would love to return it for a refund but I already throw away the package it came in.
