Fresh Red Potatoes

Very fresh red potatoes, and they last longer when left in this packaging. These have a lot of fresh flavor and you can make your own fries, home fries, bake them, casseroles, scalloped potatoes, mashed potatoes, the ideas are endless, plus you save so much money by cooking your own. They always taste better than pre-made.

Red potatoes

Normally I buy the russet potatoes which are always wonderful. The red potatoes I bought this time had a rotten spot in the center of each potato. Very disappointing. I was able to use them but had to cut the bad part out resulting in a lot of waste. I think I’ll stick to the russet potatoes.

Rotting potatoes

These don't last long on the shelf. The last 3 bags I purchased have started to rot after the 3rd day. Even removing them from the bag and placing them in a veggie basket did not help. They had soft spots and started to ooze. I think they are held too cold in transport and once they are on the room temp shelf they begin to decline.

Spoiled Rotten Potatoes

This bag and the russet potatoes I purchased last month, had the majority of the potatoes spoiled. The russet potatoes were only stored in a cool dry place ( my basement) for 1 week prior to attempting to use them. The red potatoes were used within a few days of purchase and those as well were either going bad, soft or rotten. Unfortunately, I had to dispose of both bags. With the poor quality of these potatoes and the waste of food and money, I will more than likely not purchase these again from Sam's Club.

I don't know how to cook this.

Maybe I don't know how to cook these potatoes, but it doesn't taste good with vegetable soup because it's easily fall apart and make the soup cloudy, and it's too big for baking with meat (it's not cooked inside after my steak are done in the oven.) The only way I find it good is chop up and cook with curry, but any potatoes would be good with curry. :) And after a week it start growing root, so I have to throw it away.

Disappointing

Very disappointed in the bag that was delivered to me. The bag had several spoiled potatoes in it and those that were left, after washing them clean and drying off had sprouts on them! Needless to say, se had more meals with potatoes that week than normal

Yuck

There were tons of “eyes,” all over these potatoes that sprouted by the day after bringing them home, by next night I could smell a stink and the bag was leaking from rotten potatoes. They also seemed abnormally riddled with spots, I figured red potatoes are red potatoes but they did offer a different bag smaller for similar cost probably get that one next time threw this whole bag out.

Don’t buy!

Do NOT buy potatoes from Sam’s club. Every single time I do, they are spoiled, and a few rotten. It makes your entire pantry and house smell. You’re lucky if you can salvage even half the bag. I have purchased potatoes from Sam’s club on a few occasions, and they’re always bad!! But them from literally anywhere else, Walmart included, they last for weeks! Such poor quality control it stinks

No rotten potatoes

Nice bag of potatoes fresh and clean. I bought a bag of red potatoes at Publix and not even a week later I had a horrendous smell in my fridge from not one potato in the bag but several of them that I had to dispose of. With Sam’s Club, every time all the potatoes are fresh and last a long time as well.
