The taste is buttery caramel and ooooh so good! I am hypoglycemic so I carry candy in my pockets all the time. I get episodes of low blood sugar in a 10 second period. I have to have sugar or I can die. It is no joke. Been this way my whole life. My body just doesn't store glycogen in my tissues. anyway....you will love these candies. the bag is BIG and worth the fair price. They will stay fresh for years BTW
