Poor Durability - Big Hassle

We purchased a new 2022 Kia Telluride equipped with OEM Michelin tires, and unfortunately, our experience has not met the quality we've come to expect from the brand. One tire has had a slow leak since day one, requiring air every 3–4 weeks. Despite multiple inspections by the dealership and tire shops — including remounting and leak checks — no visible issue has been found, and the problem persists. Additionally, we were informed that the tires showed excessive wear with less than 20,000 miles on them, which is far below what we anticipated from Michelin. As longtime customers who have trusted Michelin for durability and performance, this has been a frustrating and disappointing experience. We're hoping Michelin will stand behind their product and help resolve this under warranty.

Decent summer performance, quiet, but not good in snow

These were the OEM tires on my 2025 Genesis GV70 EV. They were fine in dry weather and rain, but with a little snow and cold in Michigan, they had no grip at all and felt downright dangerous, so I had them replaced at 2000 miles with the CrossClimate 2 tires, which have been much better.

Terrible

Absolutely terrible tires! Loud, noisy terrible traction and if you drive in winter good luck! Very disappointing that even in AWD at slow speeds I'd be sliding and can't turn. Came on my new suv I bought and at 36,000 miles they need replacing already.

Merely acceptable summer performance, terrible in snow

These Michelin Primacy Tour A/S tires came factory-installed on my 2025 Chevy Blazer RS, and they are completely unsafe for "real" Canadian winter conditions, especially in Alberta. In dry weather they're merely acceptable, but the moment temperatures dropped and snow appeared, they became outright dangerous. I had to drive over three hours in snowy conditions (Not whiteout conditions, just simply "winter" driving with some snow fall) with 3 passengers and could not safely exceed 70 km/h in a 110 km/h zone because the vehicle was constantly sliding and nearly fishtailing, even with light steering, gentle acceleration, and plenty of space. Traction was essentially nonexistent. The car never felt planted or predictable until the last bit of the drive where I was finally able to safely accelerate to the appropriate highway speed without feeling like I was putting my passengers in danger — there was A LOT of white-knuckle driving. For a tire marketed as “All-Season” and sold factory-equipped on a vehicle in Canada, this performance is honestly embarrassing. These tires provide zero confidence, zero winter grip, and zero margin for error once conditions are anything less than dry. If you live anywhere that sees snow, ice, or cold temperatures, avoid these tires entirely. I will be replacing them immediately, and will likely be going back to the CrossClimate2s

Horrible ride

I bought these in 2021 and will never purchase again. They ride horrible, especially over any slightly rough-ish roads or bumps it feels like you're hitting your actual wheel. I have had them checked several times to make sure they are inflated correctly and good condition because the ride is so bad and have been told the tires are fine they are just not smooth riding. I have them on my 2016 Honda Accord and cannot wait to change them out!!

Very Disappointed

I bought a new 2021 Chevy Blazer, came with Primacy Tour A/S. The Blazer has 25,600 miles and the tires are rotated by the Chevy Dealership every oil change. I don't drive the Blazer much, as it is my wife's. We received less than 2 inches of snow this weekend, as was driving the Blazer I was sliding all over the road. The traction from stop to accelerate in AWD is terrible. I was traveling about 20 MPH and slide 25 feet through an intersection. I pulled over and examined the tires, these is really no tread left land the outer parts of the tires are rounded. These are nowhere close to a 55,000-mile tire.

WillCarr, there are several factors involving tire wear. Our team is here and able to help with a solution. We suggest taking your vehicle to an authorized Michelin retailer for an inspection of the tires. Please ask the dealer to contact us while you are there so that we can get more information.

Good Tires, But not 55,000 mile Tires

I bought these tires for my 2017 Honda Ridgeline after the factory tires wore out at 35,000. I now have 78,000 miles and need new tires, so I didn't get 55,000 miles out of them and I am not wild driver, more professional and cautious driver who rotates ever 4,000 miles. Maybe because I live in a hot climate they wore out at 10,000 miles sooner. I thought they gave a good ride, were quiet, and handled well in the heavy rains of Florida. I bought another set even though I know they will not last 55,000 miles because they seemed to stop well and had the other qualities I liked. I do a lot of highway driving at 75mph and feel safe with them.

Worn out at 27,000 Miles-(warrenty was 55, 000)

I brought my Ford Explorer into my local Ford Dealer for routine oil change this week and was disappointed to hear all 4 of my tires need to be replaced. My car has been in to this dealer for all routine maintenance since I purchased it. One of the 4 tires were at 3 32nds and needing immediate attention. They ended up putting my spare tire on in the interim. Scarry as I have to littles that ride with me. My Explorer only has 27,000 miles, the tires suggest a limited 55,000-mile warranty. I am not even halfway there yet, and they need to be replaced. I have the Michelin Primacy A/S 255/55/R20 V110 -Definitely would not recommend.

Emily, sorry to read that your tires are nearing the wear indicators. We'd suggest that you have a local Michelin retailer inspect the tires. Have the dealer contact us while you are there.

Horrible tires

These tires came stock with my 2025 Honda Pilot. First issue i had, is i had a front right tire strike a curb at fairly low speed and blow out. The piece of the tire that blew out was literally in the shape of a square!!! That is like some kind of design defect. The tire also handles poorly on wet pavement. Driving down the tollway to Dallas was sketchy as if i hit any type of standing water, i could feel the front tires lose traction. IM now looking for better replacements for these tires that are less than a year old on a new vehicle.

Great Tires

I have the Primacy Tour A/S 245/50 R 20 V102 as stock on my 2021 KIA Telluride SX-P AWD. I took delivery of my Telly on NOV. 3, 2020. I now have 72,455 miles on these tires. Last month I rotated the tires and the treads measured 5/32". I am now looking at replacing them with the same tires. I have been completely satisfied with these tires.
