This is a great shelf unit. It was simple to assemble once I figured out that the shelf stabilizers need to be placed into the grooves of the poles. I like that the shelf heights are customizable. I am using it in a closet to organize craft items. It would be a great shelf in the laundry room as well.

Unit is sturdy, but there is too much space between the wire rack bars, especially in the front and back of each shelf. I bought it to use for my canned goods, but they don't sit evenly because there is too big of a gap in the front and back of the shelves. Also, the shelves aren't as deep as I'd hoped. Can only fit 3 quart jars deep in each row.

This is a nice and sturdy shelving unit with a great finish. When I opened the box to assemble there were many small pieces of plastic that fell to the floor. I thought at first that the small broken plastic pieces were simply spacers for shipping, but as the shelf was being assembled it became clear that some of the plastic was the finish top caps for each pole. So, my shelving unit has open poles at the top and no finish caps. I would have liked to have had the caps to alleviate things falling down the poles! And it would look more finished.

The shelving was easy to assemble by one person. The poles are grooved every inch, and then have double grooves every 5 inches, making it easy to have the shelves level. The 2-part slip sleeves are also marked "top" and have a narrow inner ledge that slips into the grooves of the pole.

The quality of the these shelf units is very poor, there is weld metal left inside many of the tapered corners of the shelf making them impossible to assemble without taking a carbide dremel tool to grind it smooth. The plastic wedges are too soft of plastic and do not seat strongly in the grooves, Without clean tapers and good seated rings there is no way to meet the loading capacity. It took 3hrs to assemble one of these units, when it should have only taken about 20 minutes. I have assembled dozens of shelf units in my shop and home, never ever had this much trouble. I will not purchase any more of these for sure.

My brother had put it together half way then the plastic sleeves you put on the poles kept slipping, so he had a hard time getting the shelves to stay in place. So he started over , with much aggervation , finally got it together. Plus it's not a very heavy shelving as the 1 I purchased from Overstock yrs ago.

The shelves arrived sooner than scheduled. The size is very accurate as they fit exactly in the space I had measured them for. I am using them in my pantry and they seem very sturdy. I ordered the black and it has a nice finish. Assembly did require two people.

When these shelves arrived I was dreading having to put it together, knowing it would take forever. Boy was I wrong! I put it together within minutes and the directions were clear and easy. I didn't need any additional tools(maybe a rubber mallet to bump the shelves in place). Otherwise, easy!

I liked this product and it arrived before the expected date with everything inside included the wheels, everything is okay and it actually can takes a lot of stuff especially if you have a small items you can put them in a small boxes since those shelves could takes up to 300lbs pair one!

Sturdy, a great size, and the perfect place to keep frequently used but large appliances easily accessible yet off limited counterspace. The easily adjustable shelves and the included but optional wheels set it apart from most baker's racks. Bonus: it comes in white!
