Average

For everyone complaining about these tires on EVs give your head a shake. A Ford lightning weighs nearly as much as a 1 ton diesel and these are passenger rated tires. Even a Nissan leaf is significantly heavier than an ICE vehicle of the same class. They are average tires.

Long lasting, great fuel economy

We have OE Michelin Primacy All Season on our '22 RAV4 HEV, we have 47K miles on them so far and they are holding up very well. I thought that a tire that had only 8.5/32nd new would wear down fast but no, they are still well above the wear indicators. It also delivers an amazing 42.5mpg at the pump over the 47K miles.

Poor tread life, followed by blowout.

Very concerned with the number of blowouts reported here. My wife was driving in our neighborhood (just left the house) and had a blowout on front passenger side. Thankfully she was only going ~25mph and was able to limp the car back to the driveway. How does a Michelin tire blow out at 42K miles going ~25 mph? Tire pressure was set at 35lbs as required. I expected much more from the premium tire brand. Is there something defective with this tire?

Joe 2023, we're sorry to read of this incident. The first step is to have the tire inspected by a local authorized Michelin retailer. A representative from our team will be in touch to work with you and the dealer on initiating a warranty claim.

Uncertainty!

I’m am here to express my disappointment with this Michelin tire. I have purchased Michelin tires for the last 25 years based mostly on review platforms like this and my own experience. This is so disheartening to see that something has obviously changed and I will have to research a little deeper to decide if I’m going to have to go with a different brand or take a chance. We’ll see!!

Awful

Awful tire and honestly no idea why it's OEM on vehicles except the manufacturers are probably getting rich off allowing this junk to be placed on them. Less than 40k miles and the tires are all trash. Stay away. It won't last and you'll be looking to replace before the warranties mileage.

Smooooothhh!

Who knew you can actually ride on air? I didn’t think my tires were “that” bad, BUT now I know just how out of whack they really were. Fantastic, light ride, easy to maneuver…you just have to be careful you don’t take a snooze..they are that smooth!,

Terrible Tread Life

These tires came with my brand new 2020 Ford Escape and the tread is worn down so much they are unserviceable at only 25k miles. Dealer doesn't provide prorated discount on a new set despite tire warranty booklet provided with all documents. I will have to purchase all new set and won't buy Michelin.

Myoung, there is no mileage warranty with original equipment tires. But we want to get more information and help with a solution. One of our team members will be in touch to work with you and your retailer.

Terrible in dry and wet conditions

Rented a car in Miami this week (Ford Escape). Tires were new as the car only had 50 miles on it. I noticed through the week that non-aggressive accelerating grip was minimal and turning/braking grip in wet condition grip was also minimal. Tires are so bad I got out of car specifically to look at the make and model, and was surprised they are Michelin’s. I have significant experience evaluating tire grip and performance as a semi-professional endurance race car driver. These tires are unsafe for average drivers in moderate street use. I will go out of my way to tell friends and family to not purchase this make and model tire… They were that bad.

Great Tire.

We purchased a (than new) 2022 Toyota Corolla Cross LE brand new with these set of Primacy™ All Season on them. We now have over 43,000 mile on that vehicle. And the tires still have some very good wear left on them. Suggestion to everyone: Rotate your tires (any tires) every 5,000 miles no matter what. Have your tires inspected by a professional at the same times. Check your tire pressure bi-weekly. Have your tires balanced a few times a year and an alignment once or twice per year. Depending on your mileage. And your tire light comes on, get it check now.

Noisy!

These tires are the noisiest tires I've ever heard! My new 2023 Mustang Mach-e came with these crappy tires! At 65-70 mph I'm hearing a lot of noise coming from the tires. And when the road goes over and overpass the noise changes to quieter. But then back to noisy after the overpass to back on solid ground. Ridiculous!
