Truly amazing

When purchasing through Sam's Club, it was advertised as delivery and setup clearly in the description. Shipping company left box on pallet in our driveway. At almost 300lbs, we had to unbox at 9PM (delivered 8:45PM) and bring into our house piecemeal. I'll update review on performance after we spend 2 days assembling. The fact that this included setup was why we purchased from Sam's Club.

After doing some research on various treadmills I opted for this NordicTrack. The descriptions seemed to say that it came with a group of programs and had great support. Not so! It had extremely basic built-in manual operations, however, if you want the implied included programs you get to pay as much as $40 a month. Yes, it has Bluetooth, but only available for their expensive app. Yes, it will play music but only through the outdated 3.5mm jack on the control panel unless you opt in to the app. They offer no app discounts for AARP or United Health members. The support is neither sympathetic nor competent. Several attempts to find out about the things I just mentioned were rebuffed or not answered at all. Don't expect respect from this respected brand. To try and overcome the lack of playing music through built-in Bluetooth I purchased a Bluetooth interface and a cord with 3.5mm plugs on both ends so I could connect to the 3.5 mm jack. Though it finally did let me play my music from my iPhone 16, it took some finessing to use it with the start-stop feature of their manual app for iPhone. Eventually, my daughter gave me her old iPod mini (2005) that had a 3.5 mm jack and music from that era. No conflict there except I wasn't particularly enamored of the music on the iPod, but it was music. BTW, it appears that their $40 a month app only plays music from 4 sources, none of which I subscribe to. If I was to opt in to their $40 a month plan, I would still need to subscribe to another plan to play music via their method. Seems like a Ponzi scheme to me. Putting the treadmill together was a project that took half an afternoon and part of the next morning. Although the instructions are ok, there are a few things that are not clear. Routing the cable out of the top of the right support was not defined. There are two possible ways to do it but neither the description nor the pictures showed which route was the correct one. They tell you that a second person is needed for the last two assembly operations. I was able to do that without another person except for installing the damper/release tube. That did require another person to hold the treadmill up while attaching the lower bolt. The construction does seem to be solid in the NordicTrack tradition and it is fairly quiet to operate. It came with all the tools required for assembly and parts were clearly labeled. So, here's my final word: If you don't mind having to spend $40 a month for the only app that will work with this treadmill and you don't care about the poor support, you can buy this well-built treadmill. If, you take offense paying top dollar for the treadmill, only to find that you must pay a monthly fee to use it for its claimed features, skip this one.

This is a high quality treadmill. It's very sturdy and smooth to walk on. Ive owned several different brands, but will only purchase Nordictrack from now on.

My husband put it together under two hours Its amazing quite. and the best part is you do not have to buy the iFIT program to run it. You can run it on just turning it on and speed up an incline up and down of course if you do want the iFIT program that requires a membership, but I did not find that necessary. It was very enjoyable on this treadmill.

I just rec'd this treadmill 2 days ago. Discovered right off the bat that if you stop for more than 2 minutes, you hear a beep, then you are unable to resume where you left off. You have to push Stop, then Start, then the speed you want to go. This REALLY sucks. I now have to keep track of my distance manually by writing it down each time I stop. I've spoken to 5 different people to try to find out if this is normal. Nobody until the last person said that this is just the way it is designed. IT'S A REALLY STUPID DESIGN!!!

I was disappointed when I received it to realize workout programs were not built in like my previous NodicTrack. You need to puchase the programs from ifit which I have no interest in doing. Other than that hiccup I love it. Very quite and I can manually set my speed and levels. I would purchase this again. Very pleased!

We purchased this treadmill for our home so that we could use it whenever we wanted without leaving the house or paying for a gym membership. It operates quite smoothly and love its features. I chose this particular treadmill because NordicTrack has always been a trusted brand. The only thing that would make it perfect is if it came with the iFIT for one year instead of just a short trial.

Purchased this for walking and running during the winter months and when it was really hot out in the summer. Wife loves it. Easy assembly, fairly quiet. She likes the ability to incline to 10. We did not want complex machine and this is easy to operate. No concerns.
