Westinghouse WGen12000c 15000 Watt Remote Electric Start Gas Portable Generator

I bought this a week ago and so glad I did now that it's close to hurricane season.

Very happy with the product, gets the job done and is reliable.

My unit ran great the first few times I used it. After the 3-4 time I went to use it, it wouldn't start and if it did only stayed running for a few mins. Took it to factory authorized repair that kept getting same bad part several times. After 2 1/2 months they are finally replacing the unit, I'll never buy another of these.

Not worth the money

After simple assembly; tires, lift bar, and attaching the battery, it started right up.  I recommend High Octane gas (93 or above).  Ensure you read the instructions, step by step.  Oil is provided.  It is very heavy.  However, the trailer arms make it so much easier to move.  :-).  My first Westinghouse generator.  I am completing a whole home load test (1800 square feet) it should do fine.  Remote starter is very convenient, and starts the generator from a good distance.
