I'm that person that enjoys fans. I have to have the fan and ac on at the same time I own a box lasko fan and I bought this lasko max fan today!!! Wow is all I can say I wish I would have bought this a long time ago it blows really Great better than the box fan even at the level 2 on the dial it blows cold!!! I'm so happy with this purchase I PROMISE YOU THIS IS NOT A WASTE OF MONEY!!! Lasko you really did a great job when making this fan!!!

Fan is too loud

I have had Lasko high velocity fans before and have always been pleased...However this fan just barely blows air....Definitely not high velocity.

We use this fan on our deck and wow it's amazing! Even on the lowest of the 3 speeds it's powerful enough for us. Noise level isn't very loud.

I bought 3 of them about 5 years ago and they worked great. I need another trio of them again since ours died.

Moves alot of air, but emits a loud high pitch howelling sound, a sign of cheap bearings or even cheaper bushings

Fan moves a lot of air and helps keep our lower level more comfortable. It is loud and I returned the first one due to a high pitch humming on high and medium. The replacement does the same thing. Other than that it's good.

This is a great fan, lots of power. It is quiet even tho it has a lot of air movement. Love that it is so adjustable for angle, and the extra mounting bracjets may come in very handy.

This fan is powerful and loud. The motor will whistle sometimes so it is annoying. I tried to buffer any vibration but was unsuccessful. It is a good size for a large area. I have it in my office.

Much cheaper to operate than the air conditioner. Also, probably a bit noisy for most people, but great noise generator when you live in the middle townhouse and noise reduction was installed by the lowest bidder.
