This fan came in today and it has been hot weather, and the AC has not shut off much. We turned the fan on and set it where it would blow strait up to the ceiling, and the AC has turned off and then back on like it should. I saw a review about the noise level on it, and it is a louder than a Plastic Blade fan, however the noise level to me is well worth it..

I actually ended up buying 2 of these fans since they're a excellent value.They're capable of producing strong enough wind for use with garage projects & such but they're ALSO still small and quiet enough to be used as a bedroom fan during sleep when set to 1.They're great for drying your hair,keeping you cool during sleep,blowing dust away from you while working with power tools,etc.You get heavy-duty commercial grade performance but it's STILL very practical for everyday household uses too.The price is great & it beats the pants off of using those wimpy box fans that'll still cost you $20+ at retail stores...I'll never buy small cheap grocery store fans again.(:

Iv had these for two years now in my garage. We use them for working out, cooling off after working in the yard, we used them in the house when our AC stopped working. They are a great staple to any house. Can be mounted on the wall but we prefer to move them where needed. Only down side is cord is not very long, but easy fix with extension cord.

Construction solid, metal blades, moves air great , downside while operating VERY LOUD literally have to raise volume on TV almost to max . Truthfully given what I know now I would not have purchased this high velocity type but I will live with it instead of going through trouble of return.

Great, powerful, durable fan, easy to assemble without tools, and it keeps my garage nice and cool when I am working out there. The wall mount is also easy to install, you just have to find a stud to put screws into. The screws for mounting it to the wall do not come with it, but I used 1-5/8" drywall screws with washers on them and they hold it perfectly fine. It's also easy to take the fan off and replace it on the mount to use elsewhere. Sam's Club also has the best price on this fan, at least $10.00 less than other retailers I shopped.

It lost two stars for the on off switch dial. Its mounted to the bottom half of the stand, When our old and disabled you don't want to go all the way to the ground almost and turn it off and on. The fan itself is powerful enough, not quiet but the more power the louder with all fans. I will not buy it again though.

This fan has a high pitch resonance sound. I returned for another and it does it also. If you move it around it settles down. This fan is obviously built for work areas or garages. SUPER POWERFUL. We but in our family room add on and its paid for itself in less than two months lowering our electrical bills. Pro's it moves air and easy to clean, remove clips and wipe dust of blades at end of season. (I have pitched perfectly good fans that got dusty) Con's its NOISY. We have to turn it off sometimes when the TV is on in the evening, wish it had a lower setting. I do not regret this purchase, It will save me over $40 in August and has saved me over $80 so far and its been extra hot this year.

I bought this for my garage and it keeps me cool even in the Louisiana heat and humidity. I like the fact that I can hang on the wall and easily take it down to use around the patio. I own several Lasko products and have always been pleased with performance and durability. Great price also made in the USA.

The fan is easy to put together. You have to put on the base and attach the temp gage to the arm of the fan. The air from this fan runs a bit loud, but the air flow is awesome. On low the air from this fan can be felt about eight to ten feet away. If you don't have an issue with the noise, this is an awesome fan. I have never ran this fan on any other setting than low because it does a fantastic job on this setting. The face of the fan can be adjusted to point directly up at the ceiling or angled so the air is brushing against the floor. Of course you can place the fan so that the air is blowing straight ahead. I have this fan sitting in a full-sized armed computer chair and it had no room to spare. I would say the base needs about 28 inches. I had this fan sitting in my bathroom with the door open so I could get away from the noise and still feel the air, and this worked perfectly. I would say this fan is an awesome investment, and those metal fan blades are worth their weight in gold.

i bought this fan last july in 2017 its nots like the old fans like 10+ years like a patton, but for a todays fan its pretty good fan its the best u can buy for today, if you want this fan to last long time buy some turbine oil lube it once a year it will last you long time
