The kitchen is the perfect size for him to explore his imagination and practice “cooking” just like mom and dad. The design is bright, colorful, and welcoming, with lots of fun features like the play sink, stove, and even a little fridge. It’s sturdy enough to withstand all his lively play, and the materials feel durable, which is a big plus. My son spends hours pretending to make meals, serving us, and even pretending to wash the dishes, his creativity just flows with this set. I also love how it’s interactive, with buttons that make fun sounds, a little pretend faucet, and plenty of storage space for the accompanying play food and utensils. It's a great way to help him develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and social interaction when playing with friends or family. This play kitchen is a perfect addition to our home. I bought this kitchen because it was for a boy and I had a difficult time finding a non pink kitchen set. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it only makes 1 sound. I was thinking it would make a couple sounds, perhaps it says that it only makes 1. Other than that it is great. It took a little time to put together but not bad. My 3 year old is enjoying it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The home grown kitchen was really easy to assemble - there’s clear step by step instructions on where the nails go. It comes with a variety of accessories to where it truly resembles a real kitchen with the food, pots/pans etc. There aren’t any little accessories so not a safety hazard from that sense. It does require batteries but not necessarily needed and can leave it to a kid’s imagination.

I bought this from our local Walmart but definitely should have read the reviews first.... i should have just taken it back honestly but i don’t have the time. This thing was HORRIBLE to try and get together (and I’ve put PLENTY of things together before including dressers, bigger toys than this, etc) i even had my moms help

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Little Tikes Home Grown Kitchen is the perfect kitchen for a family who doesn't have a ton of room for toys. It's compact and is created to fit in a corner but can also be pushed up against the wall. It comes with plates, cups, forks, spoons, a pot, skillet, some food items, and "recipe" cards. There are twist knobs for the oven and stove. The stove also makes bubbling sounds. I love the colors, teal and orange. I find the wine glasses in the "cupboard" to be comical. As for the entire kitchen itself, it isn't the highest quality. The plastic looks as if it was scratched up during production. The oven is hard to open. It gets hung up once you pull it halway open. The directions say you only need a phillips head screwdriver, but I ended up needing a drill. The areas where you were supposed to screw the screws in a few parts wouldn't line up. I had to use a drill in order to apply enough pressure to drill through the thick plastic. Overall, my son has loved this kitchen. It might have taken a few extra minutes and an extra tool to put together, but it's still a quality toy that will definitely be used by my son and any other children who come over.
