I purchased Defender 2 tires in April 2024 and had my Michelin X-Ice removed from vehicle for the summer months. When I picked up my vehicle from the garage I immediately noticed the ride with my New Defender tires was not as smooth and I had more road noise than with the X-Ice tires. I was surprised by this as I expected the opposite . Aside from the above observations I will say the Defender tires are very responsive to handling & braking

Have always been a fan of the Michelin tire. Don't know how often your customers get 100,000 miles out of their tires but I am coming up on that magical number. My Honda Accord has 195,000 miles on the odometer and the tires still have 4/32nd left of tread. They were purchased with 99,000 on the odometer, have had 3 low tire pressure warnings but never had one that left me stranded. Will recommend these to my family and friends. Absolutely love these tires, recommended by several Pali owners. Better than the Hancock Better than the Hancock tire that Palisade comes with by default if you can believe that. I'm a Realtor and I cover a large geographic area so I spend countless hours and days driving. The ability to be able to make calls to my customers without all the background noise and a comfortable ride are absolutely paramount! With these tires, trust that you can get comfy, sit back in your seat and enjoy the ride!

I wish I could give a "0" to the defender 2. I just purchased them last week and they are LOUD. Very, Very LOUD. They are so bad my wife does not want to drive in the Santa Fe with me. If you are smart, please stay away from the Defender 2. Thank you.

Bought as a replacement for Primacy AS. The Primacy were down to 4/32 by only 33K miles. The defender 2's were louder and not nearly as good in the wet. Also not a fan of the sidewall near the tread. Probably looks good on an SUV, but no so much on a sedan. A bit rugged looking. Exchanged for the Primacy AS again... i'll deal with them not lasting as long for a smoother quieter ride and more confidence in the wet.

Best tires I have ever owned. I have mainly leased in the past and OEM was never Michelin. I have worked in and around cars for a good part of my career and as an enthusiast as well, I always knew Michelin was the best. When it came time to replace all 4 on my wifes SUV, I knew there was only one brand. Handles like a dream in the rain, they absorb bumps and potholes much better than her old tires, and I feel way more confident with this rubber than other tires I have experienced. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

I researched tires for my 2018 Nissan Rogue and read good reviews for this tire. I was looking for quiet and a smooth ride. I just drove home from the tire store and am hugely impreased with the ride! I don't know about longevity yet but am looking forward to the future.

2003 Lexus LS430, replaced Continentals with the D2–and I am blown away at the better ride, noise, wet traction, feel… I have never felt such a difference with tires. The car sits better and has a better stance. I am a believer in Michelin Defender, the Defender2 is even better. I am very pleased with this decision 100%.

I purchased a set of Defender 2 tires for my Ford Flex 10/9/24. The vehicle is AWD and was aligned shortly thereafter. Since purchased these tires, primarily the rear 2, have been extremely loud. The Defenders I previously had on this vechicle never displayed this obnoxious behavior and I was very satisfied with them. Would not consider purchasing these tires again.

When we bought our new 2024 Subaru Forester it came with unacceptable tires which I insisted that the dealer replace with a set of Michelin Defenders. I had researched all tire offerings for this vehicle and these proved to be the highest-rated and best value and they have not disappointed me in any way. Premium rubber for a competitive price is always a great value. That your life and the lives of your family are at stake makes the decision an easy one. As we also roll on Michelin X-Ice 3s in the winter means that we will be covered for years to come!
