Not bad -- a little gamey

Given the reviews, I was expecting more. I fried four slices and added them to my green salad. They have way less fat than the typical pork bacon. It gets very crispy much faster. I smelled it and is a bit gamey, but not bad overall. I might get it again.

I have been eating turkey bacon now for a couple of years. I have recently tried Oscar Mayer. The flavor is great and the pieces are big. Other brands shrivel up to nothing, but not Oscar Mayer. Great taste for a great price! If you have not tried turkey bacon, give this brand a try!

Turkey bacon is better than real bacon actually a lot healthier for you and Chris sub just the same way face isn't good flavor everyone should give it a try this product needs nothing to improve I'm going to suggest it's good on an English muffin with some eggs and a slice of tomato

Absolutely awful

I bought this because of it being on sale and have had turkey ham in the past, which tasted like ham, so I thought this would taste like real bacon, we cook our bacon in the microwave and this really smelled bad cooking, then I tasted it, at first i thought well not too bad until I had it in my mouth for a while, then the after taste kicked in and it was yuck, my wife didn't get as far as I did, she spit hers right out, I don't understand how people say it is good, we cooked the rest of this package up for our dogs and i had to get out of the kitchen because of the awful smell from it, sorry i will just stick to the real Oscar Mayer bacon.

I will only eat turkey bacon and find it really difficult to find. That is why I can always guarantee Oscar Mayer will have it for me. I like turkey bacon better then the original bacon because there is less fat and the taste to me is just better. I think this produce is great a little on the crispy side and can be eaten as jerky.

I know turkey bacon can have a strange taste but if you cook this to its crunchiest state it’s absolutely delicious. Can’t even tell the difference, great in sandwiches and for breakfast. I would definitely give this a try if you’ve been considering it.

Really Good

I bought some of this the other day on a whim. It is really good! I fed it to my husband and he honestly didn't notice until I told him, (then he said it didn't have enough fat and that was the best part) My two year old eats it also. It's great to know there is a healthier altrnative to pork bacon out there! Give it a try!

This bacon tastes great

Try giving a package of OM fully cooked bacon to a senior citizen with arthritis. Really hard to open without cutting the package open. The easy open zip strip doesn't work at all. Then, separating the bacon slices in one piece is almost impossible. It is as if the bacon was packaged full of grease and then allowed to harden with refrigeration, and it all sticks together in a greasy clump. It makes getting a single slice a nightmare, unless I want little pieces of shredded bacon. This does not make for a good experience with fully cooked bacon, and it makes uncooked bacon a very viable option. If I'm going to struggle with packaging, I may as well enjoy "the real thing". There are easier, and cheaper ways.

To my surprise, I love turkey bacon and have actually been preferring it over regular bacon lately. I'm sure it's still horrible for you but, not as horrible as regular bacon and that makes me feel a little better. It's hard for me to believe I'm eating turkey. This is perfect on BLTs and I love how evenly it cooks. My only complaint is, I wish it would actually crisp up like actual bacon but, you can't have it all!

When I first heard of the turkey bacon option very long ago, I was skeptical at first. I didn’t think it would taste as good and boy was I wrong! I sometimes even prefer it over regular bacon! It has a taste of its own but still tastes like bacon! And it’s waaaay healthier for you, especially for those who don’t eat pork this is major!
