I tried it over the nachosZ the flavor is bland for my taste but little bit seasoning added more flavor and tasted really good. So add more seasonings to your taste and it will taste amazing. Very convenient for quick meal, tacos or bowl. Overall i enjoyed it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Is not barbacoa!! Is birria! The name of the product is totally wrong! If someone really wanted to eat barbacoa would be mad. Now that we now is birria I will rate the food as birria. Is good! But I totally recommend to reheat it in the stove not the microwave. You need to chop and mince the 2 blocks of beef. Quality is good and has a good price for what it is, birria normally is pricey. I do recommend to eat it in tacos or quesabirrias( queso + birria) and dip it in the sauce ( I separated the sauce with a drainer almost since the beginning.

I was very exited to try Del Real's Barbacoa when I received it complimentary in exchange for my honest review. This seasoned beef and sauce was very easy to prepare. I simply warmed it in a sauce pan. The meat is tender and easily falls apart, no knife needed for this shredded beef. The beef is perfectly seasoned with notes of paprika, garlic and chili powder. This beef is not spicy as in hot spicy. It is seasoned but not hot, and mild palates can handle this seasoned beef. I added this barbacoa to tacos, and I loved it! The only thing I think could be better is I wish there were more chunks of meat. As I mentioned previously this meat is tender, and I had difficulty grabbing with a pair with kitchen tongs. I eventually used a fork to scrap up the strands of meat. Still tasting but it would be better for serving if bigger chunks of meat were included. There is an ample portion of barbacoa in the package. We were able to make six plentiful tacos with the included meat.

The beef was very tender the texture was ok, it was very fresh and you can smelled it when it was cooking . This was my first time trying this seasoned beef will buy more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ingredients are pretty simple, basically just beef, tomato and seasonings. Super tender, great value for the protein content. The sauce makes it great for all kinds of recipes, you can microwave it but I prefer to heat up in a sauce pan with lid on so the juice doesn't dry up. Taco, noodles, or on top of rice……you also have to option to “customize it” accordingly, my favorite is to mix it with hot sauce.
