[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is very disappointing and I would never recommend anyone to buy this for any reason. Was it edible? Some of it but not much and it was a very small piece. First off I bought this and didn't notice it was leaking at the store. It was contained in the putter plastic so it didn't actually leak outside that. However, the bag with the meat inside was open and leaked a bunch of the juice.

I followed the directions and cooked it in a small pot on the stove. After the time it said it was still tough as a brick. I added water and braised it for another 45 minutes before it even started to shred. Then once it shredded I took it out of the liquid and cooked the liquid down until it was back to being a sauce.

I shredded the meat, added some cheese, onions, and cilantro to make quesadillas. I got a total of 2 with a correct amount of meat and a third with very little. Flavor was a little spicy but not for me since I love spice. It could have amped the flavor up a bit more but dipped it in the sauce helped a lot. 

I was making this for 2 people and it did not even come close to being ekough for 2 people. The flavor was fine but for the price, time and effort this took I could never recommend it to anyone.

Really disappointed because I had very high hopes for this.

Delicious and bought it again. There is a lot in the package so good for a family of four. I did add carrots and potatoes for the second night with rice. Great!
