I deliver auto parts Long haul driving over 100,000 miles per year and these tires typically last me between 90,000 mi and a little over 100,000 MI. I have been using them for years! Most other brands of tires typically do not last the full amount rated for but these do.

Excellent tires, always buy Michelin. I do lots of backroad, roadtrips. NH to Rt66, Branson through southern states AR to GrandCanyon, visit family in Oregon and home again via highway. 176,000 miles on my RAV4, hoping for another 125,000 on these same kind new tires!

These are the 10th set of Michelin Tires I have owned. Most of the sets were for my trucks and were awesome tires. They are more expensive than regular tires but I definitely believe that you get what you pay for. I would rather pay a little more upfront and get more than 80,000 miles than to repeat buying more sets of tires that don't last.

I have been a huge fan of your tires for most of my driving experiences. From pickups to sedans to luxury SUV's I have always enjoyed the road feel and confidence your tires provided. A quiet and comfortable ride and the extended wear I get is hard to beat. We have to drive through all kinds of weather here in Michigan.

I love my new Michelin Defender 2 tires! I now have them installed on both of my vehicles. They are much quieter than the OEM tires put on by the car manufacturers. They handle great, grip the road confidently on both wet and dry pavement. They provide a smooth and comfortable ride and with an 80,000 mi treadwear warranty I look forward to having them for a long time. They look great on both of my vehicles. I am very pleased with this purchase and the overall quality and value these tires provide.

Replaced original equipment tirres on our Subaru Outback. These tires were recommended by our service people and I think they gave us good information. They seem to ride smoother and quieter than original tires and if the expected treadwear is as we were informed we will be extremely happy with them. I feel that they are a great tire for the price.

I used the first generation of these tires and ran these 2nd generation as well driving personal and rideshare. They are quiet and like driving on pillows. In a 2wd Genesis sedan in the 1st generation version of these tires I got 2-3 mpg increase in the city and 3-5 mpg in the long distance. My any mpg was 34-35mpg with a V6 heavy sedan. In Colorado winters I could stop and plow through the snow powder or wet sloppy snow I had used sand bags in back for weight to grip. This Defender 2 I ran driving in Utah, Park city I didn't have any sand bags and got better traction. These Defemder 2 tires were very impressive I did get my money worth out of the Defender 1 I did hit the 80,000 miles I believe I got 87,000 miles out of them. These Defender 2 were on track to beat the 1st generation of this tire. Funny story I drove a gentleman who was picking his minivan up at the tire shop, he was using the minivan for medical transportation, I asked what tires he was getting “Michelin Defenders! Long lasting and get more mpg baby!” I told him they are amazing in bad weather too! He was excited! Go with confidence on this purchase!

The reason for 4 stars vs 5 stars, is that with my Accord Hybrid, my average mileage dropped to 45mpg from 51mpg, after installing these tires (same normal highway routes). Noise Level-The noise level in my car has dropped significantly, since I had these tires installed. Before the installation, there was a continuous hum. Grip- Although I thought my old tires still had some good tread, I hydroplaned in a heavy downpour. These tires plowed right through it with a recent rainstorm. They grabbed the road instantly, when I need to make a swift curve or switchback driving motion. Handling- Still getting use to that, but they are pretty good. Comfort- On smooth asphalt, the tires provide a really nice and comfortable rid. Treadwear- I picked the tires with some of the best promise lifespan. Bottomline is that I am pleased, except for the gas mileage.

They've handled well in the year since we've purchased. Whenever we get fuel, the tires are checked and the tread looks good. The only complaint is that they are noisy.

I replaced the OEM Hankook brand that I never did care for. I selected these because of the higher rating over the GoodYear that I've used on my last three cars. These aren't much better. The road noise is just as loud, there is too much bounce and the wet traction just isn't there.
