I deliver auto parts Long haul driving over 100,000 miles per year and these tires typically last me between 90,000 mi and a little over 100,000 MI. I have been using them for years! Most other brands of tires typically do not last the full amount rated for but these do.

I have driven about 20 miles so far. My engine check line came on and my engine was misfiring. Presently I'm waiting for my mechanic to install a new engine coil. Right after the installation, I had to get an alignment, the steering wheel was vibrating. I can't say that I drove enough to share my subjective opinion. My mechanic recommend your brand. He said your tires last longer than Bridgestone. I think Bridgestone sound cooler and I think they are a lower purchase price. I do feel that the Bridgestone tires lasted a long time. If yours last longer, great, but I may not pay attention

Phenomenal all around tire

I have traveled between 40 and 60,000 miles per year on the road as a Salesrep, and have had experience with Goodyear, Firestone,, hoe, Continental, and Dunlap tires, and while they've all been adequate, only even Michelin tire, specifically the defender and the defender two, have given me the performance that I was looking for. Very good in the snow on my SUVs, as well as a fabulous ride, great cornering And secure in the knowledge that if I should get a blowout, which I never have, I would likely have plenty of time to pull over and deal with it as opposed to a worst case scenario. I would have no other for my vehicles. Michelin knows how to build a tire to give its customers the best value. A little more money, but well worth it in my humble opinion.

Michelin Defender 2 AS

I just purchased the tires on 6-30-26 and they were installed on 7-1-2026. Although I have only driven on the tires for the last 9 days, I have noticed that the tires give my car a more comfortable ride than the Ecopias that were on the car when I purchased it. And the tires have an 80k mile warranty which is a cherry on the top, I've always preferred and only purchased Michelin tires and will continue to do so.

Amazing longevity! Way past warranty!

I can't recommend these tires enough! We have them on our CRV. They have 95,000 miles on the tire themselves-maybe a bit more. Last time we had them checked @ 93,000 miles they still 4 tread depth! I'm just patiently waiting for the best sale to put new ones on. Don't skip these tires. No hydroplaning in water, great in snow- did good in ice, great on the highway! All have weared equally as well.

Great tires

I had a set of inexpensive tires on my car when i bought it. decided to get some better ones so i bought these Michelin tires. They made a distinct difference in the ride of the car. better wet weather, better handling, and mich quieter than the others.

The Industry Standard for Premium Quality, Standard Touring, All-Season Passenger Vehicle Tires

Compared to the OEM tires we replaced, we're enjoying greater peace of mind w/our new, Michelin, premium-quality, std. touring, all-season tires on our mid-size SUV. These tires provide exceptional tread longevity w/an 80k-mi. warranty. They also offer excellent dry, wet, & winter traction along w/responsive steering, balanced handling, stable cornering, & a quiet ride. For maximum safety, even wear, & extended mileage, we had a 4-wheel alignment performed at a reputable nearby shop immediately after the tires were installed. Just be sure your alignment shop can clearly explain the digital printout of the measurements taken with a "before & after" comparison against your specific vehicle's factory specs, incl. details re: the camber, caster, & toe for all 4 wheels, along w/the thrust angle for your rear axle. Some tire centers offer a pkg. deal for free alignments for the life of your vehicle, which is a good investment if you plan to keep your vehicle for more than a yr. Alignments are recommended annually, & the pkg. price is often about the same or even slightly less than the price of 2 alignments.

Great Ride & Handling

These tires are a great fit for our 2019 Hyundai Tuscon. Excellent Handling & smooth quiet ride. Experienced a major "cloud burst" downpour on the way home on Loop 270 and the tires channelled the water just fine. Even cornering on tight bank turns, the vehicle handled great.

The jury is still out. I have not put close to end of life wear on these tires.

These are the most expensive tires I have ever purchased. They are performing fine. They have normal traction and drive handling. The jury is out on how well they will last. My hope is that they are worth the expense for extended treadwear. They certainly have an excellent reputation. I expect safe driving and exceptional longevity.

Rough ride and noisy

I'm sure the Defender 2 will last a long time. These tires seem to have a stiffer sidewall and harder rubber compound than the OEM tires my Toyota Highlander came with. The Defender 2 ride is much harsher and after about 15K miles they got noisy on smoother road surfaces. I also noticed the wet traction really got worse around 15K miles. I am dreading that I may have to drive on these tires for 3-4 more years, but tires are too expensive to replace them already. I will not buy them again.
