Even wearing tire with a smooth and quiet ride and designed with a nice square shoulder edge, not rounded. Great traction in dry and wet conditions and as an added bonus offers the sidewall rim guard to protect our alloy wheels. Not a performance feature but the sidewall design looks great after you clean and dress them up.

I have 161K miles on my Jeep Grand Cherokee and have received 80K per set. The only drawback is they no longer sell the white lettering, only black wall. I live in the mid-west so deal with both rain and snow and I have never had an issue with these tires. I am due for a new set and will be getting these again.

Overall, I think they are great tires.They handle well. I also feel that they look good in that it looks like an SUV tire. The original equipment tires in my opinion looked like passenger car tires. The only negative is that they may be a little bit noisier but only to be expected since they are a bit more aggressive thread design.

The tires were great in the snow and rain. They got me home in my Jeep plenty of times in the snow after a long day of work. Never had a problem. I wished they lasted longer than they did. I've only had them 2 years and apparently I need a new set of tires already. If they only lasted, I would've definitely bought another replacement set.

This tire comes with my 2011 gmc acadia awd fresh from the oven. it stated that the tire is supposed to last at 80,0000 kilometers. unfortunately it doesn't live up to its promise. it only lasted 65,000 kms. 80% freeway driving and the rest is city driving.

I have a Honda Grand Cherokee I hated how it loud and ruff the ride was. Was even looking to trade in the SUV. The new tires made all the difference, guit , rough roads no more! Love the ride and everytime I hit a bump I literally say I love these tires!

These tires were put on a 2005 Ford Explorer. Originally, the tires were great when it came to traction on wet pavement or in snow. The issue that I have with the tires is the deplorable tread wear. The tires were rotated with every oil change and they didn't last more than 15,000 miles! Each tire had a different tread depth, one was bald, and the others were 7/32, 4/32 and 2/32. To add insult to injury the dealer would not honor the tread life warranty because they were not rotated a shop (I do all of my own oil changes and tire rotations) where I could produce an invoice. To say that I am very disappointed in these tires would be an understatement. It will be a long while before I consider purchasing another Goodyear tire.

The Fortera HL in the 265/50/20 size are perfect for my 2012 AWD Dodge Durango. They are smooth, comfortable and quiet on all surfaces, and even performed well at over 7,000 feet on rural roads with several inches of snow this February, in the Big Bear ski area of California.

Everything has been great except for one thing. I had some front end work done a few weeks after my tires were installed and thank God I did! The mechanic made me aware that one of my lug nuts was missing on the front tire. Not too happy about that. Things need to be looked over more thoroughly before being turned back over to the customer.

Have had many tires on many vehicles I have owned. By far this is the smoothest and quietest ride I have ever had on a vehicle. I am the type of person that refuses to take safety in jeopardy when it comes to my cars. I guess you could say I'm obsessed with it. The performance is outstanding for both traction control ( curves at 45mph) and also that sudden unexpected stop. Cant say enough about these tires. Will never own other than Goodyear Fortera. May be a little pricey, however, your cant put a price on safety. Bottom line AWESOME quality.
