I purchased the basic wgen9500 without dual fuels or CO sensor. Unfortunately certain states are mandating the CO sensors. From my experience, if the wind blows the wrong way, the CO sensor is designed to shut off the generator due to the increase in CO. Get the basic unit while you still can!

I just purchased the WGEN12000. I had an electrician hook up everything needed to connect it to my home and it ran everything in my house, even my 5ton AC after the electrician installed a soft-starter on my AC. Ran everything without a hiccup. The remote starter is great. ONLY thing is you have to have the battery switch on the generator turned on. I'm guessing you shouldn't leave the battery switch on or it will drain the battery. Will it drain it if left on? Don't know yet.

We just purchased this generator and got it all set up no problem. It started on the first try. Haven't actually had to use it yet, but if it starting on the first try is any indication of how it will work in the future, it will be perfect. My wife even started it with little to no instruction.

The Westinghouse generator was my choice after a couple of weeks of research. I put the oil and gas in, fired up right away! Look forward to using for many needs around my home and as a back up for power failure. Love the remote start, used it today to turn off machine while I was on a ladder. Love the machine!

I just bought this generator and haven't had a chance to use it yet, but what I can say about it is it was shipped and packaged well. The product after unpacking it feels very strong and sturdy. It looks well made. Starting it was as easy as pushing a button. It is on the heavy side. As a female I was concerned I wouldn't be able to move it around, but with the handles and the wheels I am able to move it. It is heavy but doable.

This generator is a beast with the power to sustain my home during major power outage. The unit is able to run a 4 ton ac and hot water tank at the same time. This equates to 7500 watts with both running. Plenty power left for fridge and other minor house appliance. My ac does have the soft start by hyper engineering. The generator is well built. Two issues I did encounter is when I un-packaged the unit the carbon canister was detached from the bracket. Might of sustained rough transportation. The gas thank flange on the left side was slightly bent. You can tell because the bolt holding the tank same location as canister is bent. Gas not leaking and tank appears to be intact. Another minor annoyance is I cant get the generator out of my rear garage door. It is a standard door. I have to remove the door to get the unit out. If the door opened all the way it would be a tight fit. My door opens at 90 degree angle before hitting the wall. With door removed I have maybe 1/8 inch on each side of the wheels before it hits the door jamb. Did find a black screw in the bottom of the pallet and could not figure out where it came from. The screw is the same as the ones that hold exhaust heat shield together. Maybe accidentally left in the box during packing.

This generator has plenty of power for a single phase unit. It has plethora of Plugs that cover most of your possible 120/240 volt needs. All breakers are toggle breakers except for the 2 breakers for the 4 gfci circuits they are push to reset. Not a light weight unit at a little over 500 pounds. 2 guys to ramp it into the back of a pickup.

I bought this generator at the end of May but haven't used it yet. But I love the fact it runs on all three gases, I'm looking forward to hooking it up to my natural gas. I say I'm looking forward to using it, not really true. I live in Louisiana and I'm just preparing for an active hurricane season. It will be a lot better with natural gas then fighting gas lines at the stations.

Had a difficult time obtaining product. Took three attempts with three different suppliers. Delivery was difficult to track however delivery was professional & no damage. Product met all expectations. Manual was confusing at times and lacking info (especially with oil fill location).

This Generator has power and some to spare. Enough to run an A/C, water heater and fridge without skipping a beat. The instructions are simple and easy to use. You will need to ensure your home is set-up properly but if your power goes out this beast can take it on. Very heavy but ready to use out of the box. Wish they would sell a rain cover attachment though as this is the only drawback.
