This is my first Nexen tire purchase. I was contemplating between another set of OE Michelin tires or trying Pirelli. After speaking with a very knowledgeable sales associate in the tire department and reading Sam's Club tire reviews, I decided on the Nexen N5000 Platinum for our Acura RDX. Since my wife drives less than 10k miles a year it didn't make sense to go with a premium tire like Michelin again that would have cost twice as much per tire with a shorter treadwear mileage warranty. The Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3 on the other hand was attractive but 35% more for the exact same mileage and tire specs as Nexen. I was also informed that Pirelli has a "no repair" tire policy so if I picked up a nail in the tire, it would need to be replaced whereas the Nexen tire could be repaired. I also like the fact that Nexen has free limited Road Hazard Warranty (3/32" or 2 Years) along with 36 month roadside assistance and a 45 day free trial. The Nexen tires have less road noise than the previous Michelin tires I replaced which is a bonus. We live in Arizona so we don't need to worry about snow or ice performance, just an occasional rain shower. Save some money and go with Nexen, you won't be disappointed!

Great all season tires - Consumer Reports rated them awesome in snow and ice braking. In my testing so far (early December now) they have great grip on snow packed and icy roads. Price was reasonable. Other tires were higher priced and lower rated. Sam's told us that the pro-rated warranty was 6 years on these tires - this was not in the documentation anywhere I could find - I hope that is right.

Ordered on line and received by store sooner that expected. Called to make appointment for install and was transferred to call center. Appointment made for sooner than I expected and fit my schedule perfectly. At appointment I was told it would take about an hour, actually only took about a half hour! The tires are great and the install was as well. Overall this was the best tire purchase experience I have had in a very long time!

So far we are very pleased with these tires. Quiet ride, pleased with dry and wet pavement performance. We are waiting to see how they perform on snow.

Haven't even had them installed for a month yet but have driven on them enough to tell the ride and handling are pretty great for the money. These replaced a set of Goodyear comfort rides and honestly I can't tell a big difference other than the handling seems better. Of course the installation staff at Sam's were great, they took care of everything expected as always.

I bought these 4 tires for my 2016 Honda Odyssey Touring in April 2024, its now January 2025 and I have 5,000 miles on them. Tires are terrible on wet roads, great on dry roads. Tires loose traction easily on wet roads. At stop signs when taking off, the car tires spin briefly. If I turn traction control off, I look like a drag racer warming up tires for the quarter mile 8.5 second run. 1 star.
