I believe the tires were a very good purchase . a great tire and a very fair price . with my electric car they hold up very well give gray traction and stability .

I've only had the tires a couple of weeks, but from what I have experienced so far, I am pleased with their performance, Stopping distance and cornering are admirable, and they look good on my Infiniti. Here's hoping they continue to please.

Now experiencing a renewed feeling of being connected to the road due to the responsive Defender 2 design. Whether on hot Florida pavement or downpour drenched roadways, movement is nimble while braking is smooth and confident. And, quiet, a noticeable difference over even the replaced premium brand. Michelin research and development continues to miraculously improve over the original Defender. With proper maintenance tread life will hopefully be achieved as well. And was it mentioned that these tires are quiet!

I switched the Yokohama YK-GTX for Michelin Defender 2 tires. The Yokos were stiff, jolted over road holes/bumps, responsive steering, but were nice & quiet. Wanted a smooth, quiet ride, that handled curves smoothly and that absorbed holes and bumps on roads and the freeway like my previous Michelins did. The Defender 2 tires are horrible. My car feels like a Tilt-a-Whirl, unstable, squirrely, and they are not quiet, mostly smooth, but the steering needs second-to-second monitoring and concentration. My last Michelins were outstanding and outlasted their warranty, just stated cracking in the Arizona summer heat. They were smooth, quiet, absorbing and steered wonderfully. So disappointed, paid much more for the Michelins and now I feel stuck...

hope tires hold up , had aset of these on my 2021 equinox and had 30000 miles on them and would not pass state inspection because od unusual tire wear ! had alignment done and was told alignment was ok ! contacted michelin about this and they said nothing could be done because i was second owner of car !!!!!!

Just bought these tires for my VW Atlas because they have been great on my wife’s car, but have been disappointed with how they ride. I expected a smooth ride but you can feel every bump in the road throughout the car. At first thought the tires were not balanced, but went back to the shop and they checked to confirm the tires were balanced. I would by again for my wife’s car but not my VW.

Very quiet and smooth. I love the way they handle. I live in a hilly / mountainous terrain where we get all four seasons. Recently we had a significant snow fall and we had to make a sudden stop due on the freeway. I was thankful that we had the Michelin Defender 2's. We stopped on a dime without any slippage. I can't comment on wear and durability because I haven't had them long enough but from other reviews that I've read from many sources, these were the "BEST" Recommended tire for my vehicle (Subaru Ascent). If you are looking for new tires for your Ford Edge or any vehicle, I highly recommend the MICHELIN DEFENDER 2. I hated the way my car sounded when I drove. Coming from a Cadillac CTS, the Edge has loud road noise. I needed new tires and spent the extra money and got the Michelins. Totally changed the ride of the car!!! So smooth and quieter. Feels like a new car! You will not be disappointed!

I have been a user of Michelin tires in my primary vehicles for at least 25 years. I have tried other popular and "best-selling" tires in my secondary cars but never achieved the satisfaction with wear, overall handling and traction as I did with the Michelin tires. Since moving north to a climate with more snow three years ago, I now use Michelin Tires exclusively and am very pleased with my decision.
