This adult loves it.

I absolutely hate white milk and all regular chocolate milk. I found this on sale and decided to give it a try since it was organic and I need more calcium and vitamin D. This was so much tastier that any chocolate milk I've had in the past. I'm thrilled there are no artificial sweeteners. Remembering that low-fat milk itself has 14g of sugar because of the lactose. Also, Kemps chocolate milk has 22g of sugar as well. This is amazing.

Man, reduce sugar in this thing

This milk has a lot of sugar in each serving, This can not be healthy for kids. The American Pediatric Association recommends 24 grams of sugar a day. One serving of this milk covers that quota for the day. I hope Horizon takes this seriously and reduces sugar content in this product.

Very Good!

I really like this chocolate milk. It has a great flavor. I drink it 4 to 5 times a week because it has essential vitamins and fats and has a great taste too! The texture is slightly thin though, but I don't mind that very much. It is not super sweet, which is a good sign. Overall, I think this chocolate milk deserves at least four stars.

Ewwww really...

So first time buying this brand. And maybe it's only made for kids, because it has the worst taste. Oh my god, my first glass I tried drinking this chocolate milk and I could hardly choke it down.. the flavor is horrid! Does not taste like actual chocolate milk in any way. I figure kids drink it because they don't know any better..

Yes! Real. Organic. Sugar. YES!

Why am I applauding sugar in Horizon Organic's flavored milk, because it's easier to digest and better for mind and body than artificial sweeteners like I discovered they are putting in fa!rlife Superkids! brand of chocolate milk. I can't even pronounce or spell by memory. I hated to leave Horizon Organic for fa!rlife regular chocolate milk, but my lil one preferred it, so I gave it. But then fa!rlife introduced this new Superkids chocolate milk and I tried it without looking at the ingredients because I had come to trust them, but in one day my son had the worst case of diaper rash. He never got diaper rash ever from Horizon Organic, not any of their awesome products. I regret ever letting my son push me away from organic - which means organic sugar, preferably coconut crystals but even organic cane sugar is far better on a child's digestive system and growing body than anything concocted in response to consumer pressure due to a sugar bias. I am not going after families who have concerns for the sugar intake of their children, or diabetic concerns - not at all. Just offering a counterpoint to the battle cry: TOO MUCH SUGAR! We control what our toddlers have access to. Whether they drink it or not is another matter, but if I had to decide between Horizon Organic chocolate milk and having to lower sugar intake, I would mix Horizon Organic regular milk into my son's cup and feel great that he's getting the best a mom can give. Oh, and tastes phenomenal! Love and will never stray again!

Great for camping & trips!

I wish my Ontario Calif would carry these more often. These are great for camping and trips. I love that they are shelf stable so they don't take up space in my fridge till I plan on using them, they do taste better chilled. These are also great for school and field trips. Please bring these back soon. I love that they are organic too.

Problem with opening the "shelf-stable" box

Although I love and appreciate this 2% organic chocolate milk, I recently had a problem opening the "shelf-stable" container. My concern is that after I finally opened it with the help of a grip instrument, the aluminum foil cover to the spout opening was still in place. it wasn't easily removed and I feared it might drop into the milk. Is it dangerous to pour milk over aluminum material? I will appreciate your reassurance or suggestions. Sincerely, Katherine Hendry

LOVE it

Ever since I can remember I've never liked chocolate milk because for some reason all chocolate milk makes me feel sick but this is the first chocolate milk I could drink and be ok! It may have a lot of sugar but it doesn't tast sickeningly sweet like a lot of chocolate milks I've had. I always get it when its stocked in stores.

Sugar Alert!

I thought I was buying my daughter normal milk for her school lunch box. Then as I'm packing her lunch after MONTHS of feeding her this, she exclaims "It's better than chocolate milk!" What? Huh? So I look at the label. 22 g of sugar!! OMG. That's not milk. That's syrup! Upon further inspection, it's called Vanilla. Well Vanilla is a spice, not sugar. So I was completely blindsided by this. Horrible!

straw dun dun dun

The milk is amazing and tasty and I drink before school and before a race or a meet for swim but one of the most complicated things I've dealt with is that dang straw. It always seems to fall right into the milk carton and disappears, I do understand that there is a tab you can open to drink out of but now you just have a straw chillin every time you take a sip. So I've come up with potential ideas. Maybe have a straw that is bigger than the length of the carton or if that is too complicated with packing then have a straw that can be bent or curved so it can sit on the top of the carton while you drink and it won't fall in.
