This brand of chili is very tasty. I keep it on hand for a hardy lunch or pour it over tortilla chips, sprinkle with cheese, quick broil and a cold beer!!

For medical reasons, I can not have soy or gluten. Most chilis have one or both. This one has neither! It is full of beans and beef. It has a wonderful robust flavor! I have purchased it several times. I will purchase it again!

I like it, but you have to like chili powder as this has a lot of it. Good balance of beans and beef, good texture, but the chili powder flavor is out front in this one.

The product is fine, but is was actually shipped with damaged cans and one less than it was supposed to have. They had even taped it back with 5 cans instead of 6

This was the only brand chili we ever bought but then it was no longer available in the north east. Just realized i could get it on the internet Great stuff

Very disappointed that every can was badly dented. It appeared that someone gathered them and put them in an empty box that was open and in poor condition.

I’m not a huge chill fan unless it’s homemade and that’s rare. Saw this online and it had really good reviews, so we tried it and I’ll definitely be ordering this one again. Shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream, it couldn’t have been any better.

Great Disappointment . Stagg " Steakhouse " chili was my favorite canned chili , but I haven't found it recently ; I thought this " Silverado " chili , from the same company , would be somewhat similar , but it is terrible . The first taste notes that I got were sweet/bland , then some semi - tomato flavor . Nothing chili - like at all . I cannot understand the five and four-star reviews . Even more surprising were a few reviews that commented on how spicy / hot it was ; I couldn't detect any chili flavor at all . Perhaps they should market it as " chili for people who don't like chili ."

I did not think this was that special. It looks so good on the box with the peppers and everything, but honestly, it was much different than Hormel chili, which I would never buy to eat as it is. Wendy's is by far my favorite, and Marie Callender's isn't bad, but this was not that great.

This chili tastes like it's homemade just the way that I like it. It's got just the right amount of bite so that you don't need to add hot sauce and the flavor can't be beaten. I'm quitting making my own and buying this from now on and I really take pride in the chili that I make. If you like a totally mild chili without any heat at all, this is not for you. But for the rest of us, do yourself a favor and try some.
